    Ha I've been googling wine deals - which is crazy as I can't buy anything less than a year away from the wedding!!

    Oooo I've had an email back from my local posh day spa - they have a diary for July 2012 - I can go and have a look at what me and my CBMIIWHO can have :) exciting!! and then phone them tomorrow to book it. :D

    No, but at least you can get an idea of some of the deals you can get and it will help with costings.

    Oh thats exciting news about the spa.

    Im trying to get some ideas for centrepieces but havent seen anything yet that catches my eye, this may take a bit of research!!!:rotfl:

    I know these are very common - but if we were having tables this is what I'd fancy:
    gerbera-fish-bowl-160-p.gif

    Mmm just looking at my 'hen' weekend. I want:
    * Our hair doing.
    * A body scrub.
    * Toes and hand nails done.
    * Meal out.
    Now the problem is the location of all of these.
    Hairdressers is in Lincoln, the spa is in our town - an hours drive from Lincoln, and the restaurant is 30 mins away from our town.
    So....
    9:00 I get my hair coloured.
    9:30 CBMIIWHO gets her hair cut.
    10:30 I get my hair cut.
    Go for a bite to eat in Lincoln.
    Leave Lincoln by 13:00.
    Get to spa for 14:30
    Now the massage/scrub is 30 mins. The manicure and pedicure are 45 mins each. So that's 2 hrs of treatments, assuming they can do us simultaneously (we've had massages there before at the same time).
    So we'd leave there by 17:00.
    Back to mine to get ready for a night out.
    Leave home no later than 19:30
    Arrive at restaurant for 20:00.

    :) That is do able!! I was worried I'd have to spread them out over two days - but I'd rather be at home on the Sunday just incase there is any last minute preparation I need to do.

    I do really like them, but the last 2 weddings ive been to have had something very similar, so I have been looking at tall glasses but havent seen the right thing yet- another reason I am thinking tall will be better is because im tempted to go for a u shaped table to avoid the traditional top table, so if I have a u shaped me and oh can be in the middle then everyone else else around us so was thinking if we had this the tables would be long and narrow so tall ones would look better. I bet I end up with fishbowls and gerberas!!:rotfl:

    I think that does sound doable, busy but doable!!:D

    I've just emailed the itinerary to my CBMIIWHO will see what she thinks :).

    And yes I agree tall vases may be better... however if the table is U shaped (I imagine a square U rather than a curvy U) you'll have people sat opposite each other who may not be able to see each other because of the center piece. Lol just to throw another spanner in the works. The first thing when I go somewhere that has like menus or whatever standing up in front of us is put them on the floor so I can talk to whoever is sat infront of me... would hate that to happen to your center pieces!! Especially as I'm sure you'll put loads of effort into them!

    Haha- I wont be putting any effort in- my fab mil2b will be doing them!! I can see your point (although Im sure some people would be glad if they couldnt talk to the person opposite:rotfl:) and am now even more confused:undecided as to what I want/ can have!! I think the fish bowls would be too wide and will take up too much space, so maybe I need to go for something low and small!! I do also want some artifical flowers in silcone cupcake moulds to go on the tables, a bit like this but not on the stands:

    Although if I do have round tables I think they would look fab like that!!

    How about something like this in a tall vase?

    These are pretty and different - the way they are stood up on their own

    Awww how pretty are these:

    These would go well with a rectangular table

    That first one (the one that is like a gerbera wand) is just what I was hoping to find and is just the kind of thing I want in probably a tall lily glass, and I think that placed in the right place shouldnt be too in the way if people want to talk- hehe you do realise when we set the tables I will now be testing out each seat to make sure they arent in the way!!

    I think youve just found me my centrepieces- thank you very much.
