Ok, I am thinking everyone is doing fabulously as this wedding planning thing. I have failed epically in the last week or so (had lots of stuff on at work). I am going to get on it tonight and do something productive.

For my hen do I was thinking of keeping it simple and just having a BBQ with my friends (lots of my friends are male so I feel wrong having a girls only affair).

I am liking the design Laura! It looks really nice and I am sure will go down really really well!!

:jLauraL- Thats fab news about your scan.

Curious George- its the disco inferno weekend im looking into and it will be Bognor, I was trying to think of other things but youve helped convince me once again this is what I want!! Can I ask what food you went for as I was going to go for the normal one but am quite fussy- was it ok and was there a variety?

Ooo good news everyone!! As you know I'm going to be doing our own buffet (talk about controversy lol). Anyway as you can see (on the buffet thread) I will be getting a lot of food in to feed everyone! (E.g. 16 cheesecakes!) I will need somewhere to store all of this... other than our current fridge and freezer... which are full of our normal weekly food. Anyway - a lady at work is rennovating her kitchen so she is getting rid of her separate fridge and freezer. :) She's said we can have them and doesn't want anything for them (I'll give her a little bit... how much do you think... and if she refuses to take it then I'll buy her some flowers). So they can sit in the garage. Also it means on the day when the freezer is empty of food I can make hundreds of ice cubes to create a huge ice bucket in the sink :) (I am convinced it's going to be 30 degrees glorious sunshine setting down into a lovely warm evening where noone will even need cardigans! lol)

I would probably say about £30? Depending on what condition they are in and what you can afford.

Yea I think that sounds about right - I was wondering how much she'd get from a scrap metal guy if he was to collect it. (Or actually whether she'd have to pay them to remove it). I'm just pleased as punch - I was thinking I was going to have to be searching ebay for local bargains.

Well I was going to have a play around with a jar tonight - but unfortunately we're going to play IT Consultants at the In-Laws-To-Be's. Lol.

:) I'm really happy with my first glass jar lantern! They will look FAB down our path! I have used three tealights per jar - the flame on just one wasn't really impressive enough especially when there was still daylight (which there will be at 5pm in July... hopefully lol).

Anyway just taken a night time photo - just for you guys. :)
I think I'll make one jar a night.

Well im still ummming and ahhhhing over what kind of cake I want, but i have come across someone on facebook who from their page sounds fab and spotted an offer she had on that is 80 cupcakes and a cutting cake for £125, (her usual price for this would be over £200) so ive emailed her asking if i booked now could i have this offer for next year and she has said yes so im going to show my oh tonight to see what he thinks.
