These would go well with a rectangular table

Right I'm not looking any more lol it's your wedding :)

I'm going to have something like that last one as our tables will be smallish pub tables, 4 or 6 to a table.

I think the tall gerbera type things will be nice Emma, and if they are in a slim vase they shouldn't get in people's way. (Although keep them out of the way of any clumsy people haha I always knock stuff like that over, can't be trusted with anything pretty!)

I have started my new regime today of keeping a food diary and also instead of doing a big gym session every couple of days, I've decided to do a shorter half hour session every day, so it's more manageable. Day 1 has worked out ok anyway :rotfl:

Me and OH have also made a decision - we are going to move in with my mum and dad for a while :o As daunting as the idea is, there will be the space there soon (assuming my sister's house goes through, they've had an offer accepted) and it will mean that we can save £1000 a month rather than the £300 we are currently managing. Seems silly not to really doesn't it. I don't want to be married and living at home though so we will start to look for somewhere new (even if it's rented) in April.

Only problem is the loss of privacy really - but I will just have to lock myself in my room like a teenager haha! Just hope it won't be a huge mistake...

    xx

Im probably the most clusmy person that will be there so as long as they are away from me ill be ok!!:rotfl:

Im sure living at home wont be that bad- I guess it may just take a few weeks to get used not having your own space, and as youll be saving a lot more hopefully it wont take you too long, could be worth having a look at different saving accounts, my friend was talking about a nationwide first time buyers account where you can save and then after at least 6 months you could apply for a 95% mortgage (I dont know anything else about it but a few banks may start doing this kind of thing).

:) That's how I do my exercise Mel - I can just about spare 30 mins daily and it is really true by the time you've warmed up and get going it's nearly time to stop - hurrah!! I don't have the mental power to do much longer than 30 mins... lol so why have I decided that in March 2012 MrD and I will do a 10K charity run? (Will take around 70mins).

Wow being able to save £1000 a month - that will be brilliant - cor that is 13 months worth of wages... well okay not quite as you've said you want to move out before the wedding - but still that is a very impressive amount!! Wish we could save that!! :T And okay so you may not have as much privacy as you have at the moment, but the upside is that the two of you will have to go out on loads of dates instead - obviously cheap 2 for 1 type dates though so you aren't spending the money you're saving!

Hello! Another busy weekend! Went to a wedding fayre yesterday and found a videographer. Kinda already had one, but been waiting well over a week for her to send out a form for me to fill in and it hasn't arrived. Took ages to get hold of her to start with, and if she's like that all the time then we won't get on! I'm organised and if I'm paying someone to do something I expect them to be professional and respond/do what she says she'll do! Found a videographer at the wedding fayre yesterday who was willing to bring his price down from £950 to £400! Happy with that (and £50 cheaper than other woman!).

Got wedding insurance as well. Planning to go to florist next week (I'm working all this week including Saturday) and need to book make up person as well. Haven't started thinking about honeymoon yet though?!

Anyways, hope everyone is good and getting lots done - for all those education people it's nearly holiday time!!!

    xx

This is a first draft of my wedding favour. i would like them in little cards with place card setting name on the front.

    what do u think? x
  • I think they look beautiful, Laura. I would be really happy to sit down at the meal and see them.

My only question would be, do people know the significance of the hospice to you? And do you want them to know if they don't? It would keep me guessing! If you want people to know it might just be worthwhile putting a line in along the lines of "In remembrance of Laura's Grandfather'

I once did the great south run which is 10 miles, my time wasnt great but I was just chuffed I finished it and slowly jogged the whole way- wont be doing it again anytime soon though!!:rotfl:Its good though that youll have that in March as it will encourage you to keep running.

Rach- thats such a bargain, you must be so pleased. And I agree, if someone cant reply quite quickly to emails I see it as they cant be that interested in your business.

Oh LauraR- they are really nice.
