I think they look beautiful, Laura. I would be really happy to sit down at the meal and see them.

My only question would be, do people know the significance of the hospice to you? And do you want them to know if they don't? It would keep me guessing! If you want people to know it might just be worthwhile putting a line in along the lines of "In remembrance of Laura's Grandfather'

Thanks and i have edited them now to say in memory of etc. my mum said the same! lol x

Grrrrrr just typed a reply about liking the stationery, being glad I could help two of you find centerpieces and how mad Emma is for doing 10m but then I accidently hit the back button and lost it all.

Changed my asda delivery - it's coming tonight. Hopefully it'll be bringing me my jars so I can have a go at making some tealight lanterns. :)

:T well my hairdressers diary doesn't go up as far as July 2012 yet, but they have pencilled me in to the back page of the current diary to put me in when they get one. :D So I've just got me and my CBMIIWHO in for our hair on the Saturday 14th July 2012. Hurrah!! Lol was funny trying to tell the lady that it was for a wedding but I didn't want any weddingy things done - just a colour and cut, and for my friend to have a cut done while my hair is colouring :) Am going this July anyway so I can confirm with my hairdresser that it's been sorted (lol see if she's set a date for her wedding yet). But am happy - am off to go try the day spa now :)

    *edit*
Cor I managed to get straight through to them - have got us all booked in for our three treatments each :D Hurrah! Body scrub followed by a pedicure and manicure :D Cannot wait!! Soooo happy that I've made my mind up and got it all booked. Lol so come on then slow coaches - get your hen dos organised :rotfl:.

And okay so you may not have as much privacy as you have at the moment, but the upside is that the two of you will have to go out on loads of dates instead - obviously cheap 2 for 1 type dates though so you aren't spending the money you're saving!
Haha yeah I can just see us spending a fortune on hotels and meals out lol.

Hello! Another busy weekend! Went to a wedding fayre yesterday and found a videographer. Kinda already had one, but been waiting well over a week for her to send out a form for me to fill in and it hasn't arrived. Took ages to get hold of her to start with, and if she's like that all the time then we won't get on! I'm organised and if I'm paying someone to do something I expect them to be professional and respond/do what she says she'll do! Found a videographer at the wedding fayre yesterday who was willing to bring his price down from £950 to £400! Happy with that (and £50 cheaper than other woman!).

Got wedding insurance as well. Planning to go to florist next week (I'm working all this week including Saturday) and need to book make up person as well. Haven't started thinking about honeymoon yet though?!

Anyways, hope everyone is good and getting lots done - for all those education people it's nearly holiday time!!!

    xx
Don't blame you for picking someone else, it's one of my pet hates when people don't keep appointments or are late with things, in this day and age it's not hard to send a text, call or email to explain if you are going to be late with something.
    And yay for holidays :D

This is a first draft of my wedding favour. i would like them in little cards with place card setting name on the front.

    what do u think? x

    I really like that :)

I am just sitting here wasting a bit of time when I should be doing some exam marking - I had a corker of an answer earlier - the question was "Give one feature of a bluetooth network" and the lad (it must be a lad) had answered "You can use it to send !!!!!! to your mates"!

I think I will be doing Alton Towers or Thorpe Park for my 'hen do' - it won't really be a proper hen do though. Problem is I can't take my mum to a theme park because she hates them, I know she'd be well up for a spa day as would my sis and best mate but I HATE being massaged and facialed(?) etc by someone else, it makes me all stressed out and tense! There is a spa at Alton Towers though, maybe I could leave them all there while I go on the rides by myself :rotfl:

What other hen do type stuff is there? I don't particularly want a penis themed p1ss up either!

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Oh I absolutely hate having facials - they NEVER get the right moisturiser for my skin (well the ones I've had to date anyway) and always come out really greasy.

How about some sort of 'learn how to' course? You could do something girly like jewelery/mae up or something far less girly - although struggling to think of them. Or an adventure day out - like the high ropes that I was considering or paintballing etc. Or how about just a good old fashioned meal out with great food, drink and company - what more do you really want/need :)

Just incase you guys have missed it- I have started a thread all about my jars :)

I am still absolutely over the moon with them :)

I havent fully decided yet on my hen do but I was considering a cheesey adult butlins weekend, like a 70s one!!:rotfl:I have tried to think of other things but cant think of anything else that wont cost a fortune. I did go on a fantastic hen weekend to centre parcs and that offered a perfect balance of things, we had a pj party one night, we went to the onsite club one night (which was actually good) and we went for a meal the other night, we also did the highropes and we did the spa and we went to the local safari park and used their indoor/outdoor pool (in Oct in the rain) and it was great and I was thinking of doing it again but then part of me wants to do something a bit different!!

    do it!
our hag (joint hen and stag) weekend was at the adults only butlins big weekender at Bognor, it was a disco inferno weekend and it was possibly the most fun i have ever had (and im not that keen on disco!)

for 3 nights plus breakfast, dinner and all the live shows / entertainment it was about £130 per person (you can get it cheaper though but there was 4 of us sharing a two bedroom apartment, some of our friends got better deals but some of them paid extra for better accomodation / upgraded food etc) plus all the normal butlins stuff is open and free too, the pool, the funfair etc

i highly recommend it, all our gang loved it, all the guests dressed up and despite all the alcohol i didnt see one argument let alone any fights, .... it was so good we are already booked to go back to the 80s weekend next may for our haggaversary :)

    Hello all.

Seems like i havnt been on for ages.
I have read back but im really sorry i cant remember it all! But everyones plans seem to be coming along nicely:)
I really need to get myself organised and see what else i need to do. I know i need to sort out hair and make-up. I think my hairdresser will be doing my hair but im not sure about make-up yet as i don't want to spend a lot of money on make up as i don't wear it and will only want a small amount of make up so i dont want to spend a fortune.

For my hen party i was thinking off a weekend away with my mum, sister and BM. Then go out for a meal/night out with friends the weekend after.

In other news, i had my 12 weeks scan yesterday and all is good. Still doesnt seem real yet!
