Heh heh is it wrong that I've spend the last hour searching for Mr & Mrs engraved/etched dessert forks?!

Damn damn damn damn damn Etsy - it is an evil place!! I 'accidently' sent a lady an email asking her if she has any non-vintage more modern plain forks & spoons that she could etch with Mr & Mrs on... and she's replied saying she does. Damn damn damn.... have asked her how much she would charge for them.

I vowed I would not waste any money on 'wedding memorabilia' like this!!

(BUT I like the idea of us eating our 'wedding' cheesecake with our special fork & spoon).

£19.55 for a Spoon with Mr and a Fork with Mrs on.............. please tell me that is too much money and such a waste...........

That is too much money and a waste! It's just a fork and spoon! Get yourself down to a car boot, buy a fork and spoon for a few pence and and ask your local key cutter type place to stamp them for you!

Or if you work in a secondary school take them to the metalwork department and get them done for free!

(on a side note - there are a couple of ebay shops that will do Mr & Mrs lettering free standing for aorund £1.80-£2 each letter - including postage. That feels like a much better bargain!)

They would be much more personal if you did that, you would always remember if your brother made them rather than some random off the internet!
