Hi guys. Just stubbled accross this chat, I'm a July 2012 wedding - the 12th to be precise! I am so excited but am no where near as organised as you guys! Should I be panicking? x0
-
Welcome MoneySavers (do you have a real name?)!! And definitely no - you should not be panicking!!
We're all at different stages of planning in here. Great to have another person who is doing the deed before me!!
What have you and your groom to be decided on so far?
Looking forward to sharing your planning with you!!0 -
Hello and welcome Moneysavers- no need to panic, its still more than a year away. How far have you got with the planning?
No updates from me!!0 -
welcome moneysavers, don't worry about not being as organised as some of us, it is over a year away. The reason I am so prepared is I have to write my diss next year for my final year at uni. I didn't want to be planning an entire wedding at the same time xx0

Welcome Moneysavers, Do need to panic. There is still 13months left to plan, so plenty of time:)
I have found a link of my wedding shoes http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/collection.htm?brand=Rainbow%20Club&productID=204&Accessories=
My sister may get a pair and have them dyed burgundy as she loves them as well and i know they fit!!
Well back to work tomorrow. Only 7weeks untill summer holidays! Yes i'm counting already:rotfl:
EDIT - i have changed the list on the front page to try and tidy it up (me have OCD never!!) can someone let know if it looks ok or how else to make it better and neater?!!0 -
Oh they are fab shoes Laura - can see why your sister is tempted to get a pair herself!!
Ooo just think in a months time we can all start a 'less than a year to go' countdown!! Yaaaay and eeeeeeek at the same time lol.
Loving the front post Laura - you're doing a brill job keeping us all up to date!! (Perhaps add the date to the front of all the date twins as well.... It's a shame you can't get tables/columns on here!!)
Well I have had the most lazy Sunday ever!! We got up relatively early and headed off to a Koi show near Barnsley (about 2 hrs drive). Got back around 2pm. Had lunch. Then around 4pm fell asleep - woke up about an hour later then took myself off to bed where I slept for another 2 hrs and woke up at 7!!Bliss!!

LauraL- I think the front page is fine. Im laughing at Natalie wanting a spreadsheet- anyone would think your obsessed with them!!:D
Loving the shoes LauraL- they are lovely.
Natalie- I had a nice 2 hr nap earlier, may regret it later when I cant sleep but I was out last night and in about 2am so needed it!!0 -
Hi guys!! What a weekend!! Tried on my first ever wedding dress on Saturday (plus a few hundred extra). Found one I really like. Only problem is the shop refused to say who the designer was so just looking and looking at different designers on the net now until I can find it!!! Not impressed with that - are all wedding shops like that?
Walked out of one yesterday. It looked lovely from the outside - only one person in at a time, they lock the door when you're in, asking you to wipe your feet on the way in. I took one look at the dresses and decided I wouldn't be trying any on there. They were in a disgusting condition. Most of them had big holes or rips in them and were filthy. I know a lot of people try on these dresses but they should never be in that condition. Anyway - rant over!!!
Having a lovely glass of wine tonight before I start the 7 day juicing diet tomorrow. Worried about how much I'll hate it, but thought it would give my weight loss a kick start. I apologise in advance if I come on here grumpy as ........... this week!
Back to school for a lot tomorrow then. I was supposed to be working (I'm a supply teacher) but got cancelled :-( Not much work around at the minute so just started working in a local pub to get a bit of extra cash and got an interview for a Saturday job in a shop for the Summer on Thursday (I feel like I'm 16 once again!!).
MrsD - you're doing really well with your running! Well done!!
Sorry, not been on for a couple of days - just read through everyones posts and now I can't remember who said what???!!! :-S

Hi everyone!
Well I have just come back from an AMAZING weekend in Manchester... Take That were brilliant, we got spaces right at the front next to the B stage (literally - we were leaning on the barrier!) and I was about 4 feet away from Jason Orange when they did Never ForgetAnyone who is going and has standing tickets - get there eary and get near the B stage as they spend most of the time there!
Hello to the newbies, don't worry about not being very organised! I'm not really either hehe (but I do have a spreadsheet with lots of colours on - it just so happens that it's mostly red!)
Just a quick post anyway as I am shattered - I was standing up for almost 12 hours on Friday, have had about 5 hours sleep all weekend (drink too much, me..? nahhh) and back to work tomorrow!
Chat soon xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
hey rach,
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
for trying on dresses. Its one of the best parts.
Some shops are funny about giving out designer numbers, but not the designer name. This is so you can't find out if another shop has it. However, some shops are so helpful and give you all the details so you can shop around. This is the shop i have got my dress from.
