got an email this morning confirming my break at Park resorts California Cliffs. Managed to get a 4 night break in the easter holidays which if I book online direct with Park would cost me at least £147. The service charge is £6 pnpu and entertainment passes are free so an £85 saving. I assume we'll get the bronze caravan. Does anyone know what they're like?

When did you send your tokens off, if you don't mind me asking? It feels like I sent mine ages ago! This is the first time I've done a Sun Holiday and I really hope I've been lucky enough to have got my holiday!!!

    TIA
  • Ooh, had an email this morning saying i have to pay online for the rest.

I didn't want the linen but it's charged me £14 for it?? I thought it was like £10pp? Confused. What will i get for the £14?

You can ring them and take the bedlinen off if you don't want it and just take your own.
I always take my own sleeping bags.

The Parkdean one I went to last time supplied the actual duvets and pillows. the £14 pays for duvet covers and pillow cases.
We called and took the linen charge off and took our own covers. When we got there though they had left duvet covers etc for us.

It depends on how much car space you have really and whether you are happy to use their duvets. The ones in Nairn were all nice and clean so we were glad we didnt take sleeping bags etc.

Aw dammit that's a good point re. they might leave it on anyway! Never mind, i have a Clio so car space is an issue, since we're taking 2 kids and the dog

  • You will get duvets and pillows as standard in a Haven caravan regardless of whether you have paid for linen. The linen charge is for pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers and they charge £7 per room.

What we usually do is take our own sleeping bags, sheets and pillowcases and use their duvets as a bit of extra padding for the matresses because they are as hard as rock.
