I wonder whether anyone has had experience of booking two consecutive holidays at one of the 4 Woolacombe Bay parks? Just that we've got the Fri-Mon and then the Mon-Fri at Whitsun and I know a lot of people have said they've done this on sites before and the site has linked the bookings so that they can stay in the same accommodation for the duration. However, I rang the site yesterday (Golden Coast) to get an idea of costs of upgrading and asked them whether this is something they can do and they said they can't promise because we'll just be down on the system as two holidays going into promotional units.... surely it can't be that much of a problem can it? Anyone done this on one of these specific sites? (It's Golden Coast, Twitchen, Woolacombe Bay and Easewell Park that are all the same company......):)
I cant see why they wouldn't let you stay put in one accomidation? It would save them having to get the van cleaned between breaks wouldn't it.
I'm not a complete idiot....some parts are missing

This is my dilema to, I have mon-fri booked at haven lakeland with the sun offer, then I have the fri-mon booked there through the Daily Mail offer, I was hoping they would just link the 2 bookings together aswell. Also I wasnt sure whether they would try and charge me for the entertainment passes twice. Anyone had the same thing before?

Golden Coast, Twitchen, Woolacombe Bay and Easewell Park are located a short car drive away from each other, so I assume if you've booked the same site i.e. Easewell Park for both breaks it would be fine but may be a problem if you are booking different parks.

I'm not sure if they would insist you have 2 lots of club passes to cover both your breaks.

I just ring them the week before hand with both reference numbers and ask them to merge the bookings (before caravans allotted) have never had a problem staying in the same van

It's a nice site, it can get very busy in the entertainment complex but the bars nice and the pools. The beach isnt really a beach, it's like a nature reserve, rocky and muddy. It's a good area with plenty of good pubs and restaurants and places to go.

I went there last June. Altough the caravan was basic - it was comfortable and clean. I like you was concerned about what it would be like, but it was fine. The food in the restaurant is ok, and not badly priced, and the entertainment was good - but the seating in the bar filled up quickly so get there early if you want a table (this will probably depend on what time of year you go)

All in all it was a good place, you can walk into bude which is nice - hope you have a good time!

when we went with the SUN we had a chalet!
it was pretty dated furniture wise etc!

BUT clean and well equipped and that's the main thing lol
oh but no shower only a bath!

food was good, pool small but the kids enjoyed it

    nice area

Yeah, have booked them both for Golden Coast. I think they will charge for two lots of passes as it's classed as two separate holidays, indeed, I asked about the upgrade charge and she confirmed that it would be two charges for that very reason. I suppose I can understand that, because if I'd only booked one break and then phoned about an extension they'd charge me for that so it probably works out about the same.... but at least doing it this way I'm at least guaranteed the full week I suppose, even if we do have to change accommodation? Hmm, will see what they say when I call up about the upgrade, to be honest, if they won't guarantee staying in the same one I might not bother paying them any extra and just go with the standard accommodation!
