  • Just been on Sun's FAQs & noted the following:
"If you have applied for a Sun Holiday within the last 2 years you are eligible to receive a Priority Application Brochure which will enable you to book as a priority customer.
If you have not received your Priority Application Brochure, please CLICK HERE to send us an email. Please select the ‘Previous Bookers Mailer Not Received’ category and to assist us, please inform us when you last applied."
Wish I'd known that before, but will definitely be in contact with them if we don't get a form next time!!

Oh dear.. I just looked at Coombe haven rewviews on Trip Advisor ( never knew about that site until reading above) and it has some awful reviews!
i went there with my older kids about 10 years ago, loved it, so thought we'd revisit it with our 4 year old... has anyone been recently who can reassure me that it is still a nice place to go?!

I went last Easter Hols with the Sun. My two kids were 12 & 10. The accommodation was good (didn't bother upgrading). The pool was good for the kids. We hired these go kart buggies for an hour one day and both myself, my 60 year old mum and the kids enjoyed them. Unfortunately there wasn't much for the older kids to do. My 12 yo daughter and I went to the "roller disco" in the "sports complex" which was basically a hut with a sports hall feel. The good thing was the Mash & Barrell pub where we had a carvery meal. Decided not to go back this year as there really wasn't much going on, but then as my kids are now older i think they expect more. The "nature reserve" is basically a pond! Hope you enjoy your holiday.
  • And this one about the double bookings:

"You may only use your unique Priority Sun Reference Number to make one £9.50 holiday and one £15 booking on-line. Further unlimited bookings can be made using the postal application method."

    I'm not sure then:
The first hol, we were charged £30pp - peak rate 7 night European break
Then the second was charged at £15pp - peak rate 3 night UK break

    Whaddya think?

hiya for anyone who is worried about combe haven my sister has been a few times and she said it is a lovely place to visit and pretty much the same as all the other haven parks.
some of the reviews are so lame on those sites, maybe once a few of the ladies above have been and enjoyed it they could leave nice reviews lol

    Cheers :)
I'm taking my 4 year old, who will be happy with swimming, collecting ( all!) the pebbles on the beach etc... and also my 17 year old.. who will probably spend most her time with her headphones in and walking a mile behind us.. so it sounds fine to me!!!

it includes everything that's free, which includes swimming, entertainment etc. But if you don't have them you can't even get into the food places etc. It is much cheaper to buy through this offer and if you are planning on using ANY facilities you do need them, even the park as you have to walk through the arcades etc to get to it!!

Thanks, do you buy these when you get the confirmation from the park?

Anyone got any idea about booking a european park for 5 -it only ever gives availability for 4??

Could you book 4 and add 1 on later?

Has anyone ever added on another day after they booked with the park directly?

Yeah, we've booked Paris for the 5 of us and booked an extra night with the park itself, can't wait!!!!

I'm trying to book my ferry tho and after a few attempts using the sun code that popped up it kept telling me invalid code. Now just tried again and it says I've already used my confirmation number.
Anyone know the phone number for the sun to try to sort this out?
    Cheers muchly
