I couldnt get anything for Butlins or some others for my dates :( but they did offer me Pontins! Not too sure about those as I want to go somewhere I have been before.

    Do not go to Pontins.

    See Trip Advisor.

I firmly believe that a holiday is whatever you make it - I have been to pontins before, and it would have to be my last choice if I'm honest. But if you don't expect too much you'll be ok!
  • I didnt get a sun priority booking form this year, if anyone has a booking reference they are not using, I would be very greatful and put it to good use.

    Many thanks

Repeat of this morning's post, as it seems the same questions keep getting asked!

    (1) If any of you were expecting to receive a priority booking ref but have moved recently, there is a chance that your envelope went AWOL in the post. Some people have reported success with phoning (0844 5439777) or completing the form on https://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/faqs/22/41 to find out their booking ref.

    (2) Those of you who don't have a priority booking ref, there is a thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2946574
with a long list of requestors - copy & paste the most recent list (go to last post and work backwards to find most recent version), add yourself at the end, and you may be lucky.

    Additionally

    (3) It seems as if the servers (mainly RBS!) are having trouble coping today, as some are having their holiday applications hang, others are reporting an error message about not being able to access certain documents. Please just keep trying.

I booked Bude Holiday Park for the whitsun midweek. It wasn't one of my choices in all honesty but it appeared to be one of the only choices apart from Pontins.

I've since looked on the review centre and noticed that Bude Holiday park has got very diverse mixed reviews, from those who go there every year to people saying that the 'sun' caravans are practically falling apart. Has anyone been there in the last year with the sun and give me their opinion as I'm worried now lol...

I went there last June. Altough the caravan was basic - it was comfortable and clean. I like you was concerned about what it would be like, but it was fine. The food in the restaurant is ok, and not badly priced, and the entertainment was good - but the seating in the bar filled up quickly so get there early if you want a table (this will probably depend on what time of year you go)

All in all it was a good place, you can walk into bude which is nice - hope you have a good time!

    question here please.

i am seeing on here that people are booking these holidays online or over the phone: can this be done if you havent got a priority booking letter?? my son did have a priority booking and somehow its been mislaid!!!!!

we have all the words from the tokens but online it says to download the booking form and attach the tokens. please say we can do it online with just the words???

There is a phone number somewhere. If you tell them the postcode, name and address they will give you your son's priority reference number over the phone, then you can book online.

I'll hunt for the phone number for you, hang on :)

EDIT - here, copied from a post by missrich1:
if any of you are expecting one and not received it here is the number to call 08442458099 and they will check for you

Thanks for that information, I appreciate it. I was a bit worried about what the caravans would be like but as long as they are clean and everything works then I'll be happy :) Can I ask you how long the walk into Bude takes and are there lots of shops to look around there? And any good beaches within walking distance? thanks!

Anyone got any idea about booking a european park for 5 -it only ever gives availability for 4??

Could you book 4 and add 1 on later?

Has anyone ever added on another day after they booked with the park directly?
