Our old hermes woman was great, the new dude is fine except for the fact that he actually physically tries to knock the door down everytime he comes0

Quicy, can I suggest you edit your post and remove the telephone number and name. It is not fair for you publish such personal information, if it was Hermes's telephone number, it wouldn't be so bad, but this is the driver's own personal mobile. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

Can everyone please use the already heavy hermes thread?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

I had to wait 3 weeks , day in and day out for Hermes to get their act together, I emailled them to complain about their useless driver and the useless time wasting service. But they never replied. i didn't book them, it was a lady I sold something to on ebay. never never again. I'd rather get a train and deliver it myself than ever use them again. Details on request if MSE wants to go after them too !! Regards AmandaThank you to all the money savers:beer: for all the wisdom, companionship, bargains, competitions and ideas:T you have made a transformation to our household, Thank you, it would have been so much harder without you and together we are amazing :A:smileyhea0

My mother got a card through (she was probably in as she is 85). To help I have tried the number on the card with the name xxxx, number xxxxxxxxxxx and it is never answered. I sent a text. No reply. I rang the (cunningly concealed) number on the website. On hold for 20 minutes until answer machine. Left message. No reply. The landline number on the card just refers you to the website! How is that of use to an 85 year old lady? No other information on the card at all e.g. tracking number, who it was from etc etc.
Hermes are just taking money, not delivering, not providing any customer service whatsoever and have, in effect stolen money from my mother as we don't know what she sent for.
Don't use them.
I do appreciate your dilemma my father had alzheimer's and once paid a man £160 to cut down a bush and put magic potion on a dead tree cos it would grow again!
Apologies if it's something other than alzheimer's but it rang a bell when you stated we don't know what she sent for.
You do need to remove the couriers personal details from your post, it is very unfair, if you need to vent, replace them with Hermes contact details.
It is possible that xxxx on xxxxxxxxxxx could also have your contact details and could post or have another post them here:eek:0 -
quincyjones, I have reported you for abuse
Poor courier has had name and number exposed for too long.
Love the people who angrily post and then sod off:eek:0 -
Never had a problem with Hermes. Hayley our local delivery driver is great, parcels always arrive on time. She comes out regardless of weather, even in the snow and has even delivered on bank hols when busy.
HDNL are awful around here. Checked the tracking for a pc I had ordered, it was loaded onto the van one day and delivered the next. Box was soaking wet when it arrived, so sent it back as wasnt sure how good the pc would be inside. Ordered another one which was delivered ok, albeit a bit slow but no signature asked for, which was ridiculous when you look at the value of the item.
Would use Hermes, DHL always ahead of HDNL if possible.0 -
the courier delivery guy left our parcels with a home help who was attending to our neighbour,he left us a card telling us this, so i rang him on number on card and told him i not happy bout that, within 5 mins he was at my door cursing and swearing he wouldnt take his foot from the door and was was frightening my 13 old son,i told him to leave or he be in trouble and that i would be complaining, since then we have been blacklisted because hermes say delivery guy says i threatened him WHICH I DIDN'T:mad:,we contacted company who we purchase from and they say if hermes wont deliver then they just cancel our account, surely this is wrong,we have also contacted police in the hope that this guy is taken to task and charged with a breach of peace,we await developments0
