Paypal is not the problem, its my ebay account

Just spoke to them and OMG......... If i ever speak to anyone else in my lifetime that doesnt process what you are saying and just reads off a screen and feeds you standard customer service line more then the person I spoke to, then god have mercy on our soul

We are in a stale mate at the moment. I have spent the money which i made from the sale so I cant pay my fee's and they wont let me re-list it to i have paid my fees, but i cant pay my fee's until i sell my item again - it was a long conversation.

What the most aggresive ebay can get over this?

I was thinking of cutting my loses and using my parents ebay account for future purchases, but if ebay are going to start with phone calls and deby agencies and court action i might re-consider.

I also feel a bit guilty at the moment, casue i've had the money and still got the costume so i dont know what to do with the costume. Maybe i should send it to ebay (recorded delivery of course) and say they can accept the goods as payment for my fees lol

If you use your parents account they run the risk of having that suspended as well and none of you ever being able to use ebay again. It is against the rules to use an account while suspended on another.

Yes ebay do get aggresive about outstanding fees, they will persue you for them.

Well as long as they understand that as soon as ebay link you to your parents account they will lose their account for good.

How would they do that exactly????? Just because i get suspended dosent mean my parents cant use ebay and its up to them what they buy so they cant prove that i physically used thier account

If you use log in to theirs using the same connection you used to log in to yours, or you get things delivered to your address from their's, then ebay will be able to make the connection.

IP address, Physical address or the link to your paypal account not exactly difficult to link accounts

If you use their ebay account from an IP address that you have already used fro yours then of course they can link you.

Fees on a child's costume can't be very high, surely? Is it worth all this hassle for the sake of a few pounds?

Yeah you can link IP addresses, however, you need authority and good reason to obtain billing data from the ISP to get the account information and if my parents want to come round my house and use ebay, its not a reason to ban them is it???????
