    Evening everyone

All sorted and had Jacket Spuds for tea. Did the supermarket shop at Lidl, only thing I would have liked but didn't get was a chicken, they were on offer at 1,81€ a kilo and they had sold out.

Forgot to phone from home to switch the TV channels back on, so coping with Sky News and ITV3 for the weekend, not open to do it until Monday.

Just put a photo of FB which I took with my camera of some kids rock climbing in the sea at 4.15pm today, I wanted to see the see as it just makes me feel so relaxed.

Churchmouse - can't we tempt you back to posting again??

    Take care DG

Evening all! Have had a busy day making soup and pizzas, and catching up with the washing. Have booked DDs emergency last minute 21st birthday party, now am searching for a suitable showstopping cake! I think I have bought all the smart price platters and bowls available, and helium and balloons, and have to search through for embarrasing pictures to decorate the venue with! Just need her to give me the final idea of numbers so that I can plan the buffet-cold stuff only, or I would make a vat of curry, chilli and the like, which would definitely get munched! Trust her to decide yesterday she wants a party, her birthday is on Valentines Day!!!

I sooo want one, I'm desperate for patterned flannel sheets but can I justify £2.99 p&p on a £5.52 sheet?

Thing is, the other sheets I have found like this have been £20 plus , so this is really quite a bargain, also I ordered three, and postage was still £2.99, and they give you 10% off your first order :money:

    Evening everyone

I don't know where the day has gone. Day 3 of not smoking, I have been so moody and bad tempered today especially this morning, think I need to apologise to dh as he got all my temper tantrums.

Os today wm & dw been on and emptied. Made fairy cakes and weetibix cake with ds2 this afternoon. Dog has been walked too. Not much else to report.

Watched Sherlock holmes film tonight, thought it was really good.

Beemuzed - glad you enjoyed the pantomime.
Flutterbyuk - you must be so proud and very good at your job.
Halight - I am very jealous, think I may have to make a curry on Monday.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care

  • Hello :)

    late post for me today!!!

had a fairly quiet day, FIL came over for
a cuppa as usual, he seems especially down at the
moment and is saying he hates his life now :( I never
know what to say back to him?? we are just trying to be there
and make sure he has company every day.

dinner was spaggy bol, bulked up with lentils,
think that is one of the best tips I've got of here :T
other half of mince is in freezer to make another meal next
    week :)

    hugs to all xx
