Absolutely cream crackered her I did spare room and computer room and top landing and thats my lot for today.DD is coming in the morning so she said she will do the stairs down for me.
loulou2010 trust me you will fall in love with twinks hobnobs they get eaten in my house when I have the dgs here almost as soon as they come out of the oven.
My house is virtually back to normal now after the festivites, only a few bits to take to the tip which I will do on Monday on my way to visit Thos Cook about my refund for the three Liverpool match tickets .They have had the tickets since 20th December and its high time the cash was refunded to my account I think.I made a weeks allowance for the holiday period but as it left my account in minutes of me booking the trip I can't see why its taking so long to return to my account.LFC said they are happy to refund tickets as the match was cancelled on the day when we were halfway to Liverpool on the train. Its a fair amount of cash that will do better in my account tham theirs.
Just going to have some dinner shortly then its feet up and watch some t.v.,for a little while.the curtains are shut to keep the heat in and the gloomy day out.Roll on spring January is such a depressing month I find.
Uni starts beck on Monday so I will have to sort all my notes ect out for that .
Have a nice evening everyone what ever you are doing
Cheers JackieO xx0 -
Afternoon everyone.
I don't often post on this thread but I love reading it so I thought it was about time that I posted.
Hope everyone is having a good day. I have been busy with getting the children to swimming lessons, picking up some new school polo shirt for the children from M&S which I had ordered online when they had 20per cent off:j
The sun has been shining which was lovely but it did show up how much my windows need cleaning, so I did that.
I'm very pleased with DH as we have had our car breakdown renewal in at £201:eek::eek:. So he called them and simply said that we need to cancel as we cannot afford it. They then came back to him and said they would do it for £140, still too dear so they came back again with £110:D. really pleased:D
Hope everyone has a good rest of the day. I'm on my own all evening as DH is at work:(. nevermind at least I will be in charge of the remote:jDebt Oct 2006 £42,215.21 at highest. Debt Today £0.000 -

Welcome Adamsmummy - do you have a recipe for those you'd care to share?
Well we finally had our girly Xmas lunch! It was lovely to see my friends especially the one from Bristol, plus she had news......she is pregnant!!They got married Feb last year and we had bets on when she would be (I won!!). Apparently it wasn't planned but they are both very happy about it!
. We swapped presents - I got some makeup, travel planner/diary and a guidebook to 1001 places to see!
I'm planning a chilled night tonight, cooking a stirfry and then watching a film with a magazine. Would be nice if I had someone to cwtch in with though! However I do potentially have a date tomorrowdepends on if the guy has a gig or not with his band.
Have a fab evening all

Whipsnade!! That is such a great idea!
My online shop is here! i am v. impressed. Paid for the 8 hour slot as is £2 and got here 4 hours into the wait. So can now get on with my day, OH is surprisingly in a good mood so after lunch (late one!) we are going to take the pupster for a long walk.
Put an ipod and laptop on ebay to try and get shifted of. I got a new ipod touch for my birthday and downloaded an ebay app. It's amazing you can take the photos on it and load it all online straight away!! Hopefully they sell..
OH has a days work next week and is going to quote for a job so should have a few things bubbling soon.
I've added a few more recipes to my filofax that i've found online (always see great things and lose them!) so will add them to some meal planning in weeks to come. Will search for more this afternoon too!
PM sent, I hope you dont mind:j:j

cooked a cheese and bacon pasta bake. that will go in the freezer once its cooled.
alan got all the shopping in so for the next week which came to £28.78. the only thing i will need to get is bread if we run out. have plenty of milk to keep us going.
ds played up for him thoughhe hates going in the trolley. he's ok if he is facing forward but doesnt like going backward. has always hated it. he hated his rear facing carseat too so dont think he likes the motion of going backwards.
alan forgot to take the reins so trying to push a trolley and run after him was all a bit too much :rotfl: think he learnt a lesson there
he also let him sleep for almost 3 hours  which means he wont be going to sleep til 10-11 tonight  he'll happily sit and read books or play quietly in his room but still not amused."I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
