    I may try this recipe.
I tried a recipe for brownies at the weekend - they weren't to our taste - very bitter!
Think I'll end up throwing them away....hate it when that happens...

I came across a recipe for Flapjacks recently which suggested mixing all ingredients together in a food processor (or you could do it by hand) and then placing in a tray, skipping the melting butter stage.

I wondered if this would work but it did and the results were fatastic. Much less mess too!

chop them up and mix them through some softened ice cream before refreezing. I've done this with extra fruit cake and christmas pudding in the past and it's yummy. I usually just use plain vanilla and a cheap Asda or Tesco soft scoop does just fine.

I usually have a flapjack for breakfast, but am fed up of paying nearly £1 for something which should be easy to make.
At home, I have a couple of bags of Meusli and oats, along with honey, sultanas and raisins.
Should I just mix the whole lot in a big bowl, and then put it in a shallow Le Ceuset dish and bake in the oven, or is there more to it?
    Thanks.

You'll need something more to hold it together - some melted butter/marg at least. There's loads of recipes if you google deoendingon you taste for dried fruits, sweetenings etc

This is the recipe I use its really easy

    3oz sugar
    3oz marg
    4oz oats

melt butter and sugar together stir in oats put it in a suitable oven dish and cook about 180 for about 15-20 mins.

Due to the size of my preferred dish i triple this recipe.

Have also included various dried fruits etc.
