I managed to paint my table numbers at the weekend. And make a start on the board we are using as a table plan.

The florist was useless suggesting one thing to us which is the cheapest thing they do - two roses in a tall vase with some brown sticks popping out - i don't like it when you can't see the person opposite you which is why i want small arrangements but she didn't suggest anything else and tried to persuade us that the ones with height are better as the room is so big... she's tied in with the venue so i can't change my mind so i'm going to go through google and find something pretty and tell them to copy it. Very disappointing.

Apart from that not much else has been happening, still can't find something to walk the aisle with. Think i might play one song twice lol.

Well i'm off to get my wisdom teeth out so wish me luck! Ouch!

Ooohh good luck Jenna! I will need that doing at somepoint but am putting it off as long as possible as I am a wuss! lol.

Hi Ladies! How are we all getting along? I have had a very productive wedding week.

• Found my wedding shoes - perfect wedding dress match :T
• Had a dress fitting on wednesday, and I will collect the dress in a few weeks. They are taking it up, altering the straps and fitting a button on the train so I can 'hook' it up for dancing!

• Bought almost all that I need for my favours, now I just have to assemble them.
• Bought the makings of my decorations for the hall and started making them (I have to construct hundreds of paper hearts! I plan on organising a 'heart making evening' with a glass of wine or two and as many volunteers as I can find!)
• Made another 15 or so paper flowers for bouquets
• Bought fabric which I am hoping will be good enough to use as tablecloths (it was a bargain! and table cloths are so expensive so I am hoping it will do!)
• Bought wool for my sister to crochet me little wool hearts.

It's been a productive week wedding wise and I feel like I am getting there. Blokey's suit arrived and it's perfect so that's fab!

Unfortunately the start to 2012 has not been so good finances wise. I was hoping 2012 would be a fresh start for money, but unfortunately our car has broken, AGAIN!! and this time was it's last chance. It's gone to the scrapyard in the sky, but we've had to go out and buy another car to keep us going - £500 of wedding budget gone! All I want it to do is keep going until after the wedding, please!

Then at the weekend our power in the house blew, after buying a new fuse it turns out it's the washing machine that's broken. We have waited 4 days for our landlord to decide it's not something he has to replace and so now we need to find the money for a washing machine :mad:

oh well, I am trying to not let it all get to me - there's always the lottery! :rotfl:

55 days to go... less than two months! I'm beginning to get stressed now.

Photographer sorted - Got one who is happy with expenses only. We like his pictures.

oh no, don't put it in to days it makes me want to cry a little bit! I have soo much more to do....

However I have just got back from a really lovely hen break away - I knew I was going somewhere, but where i went was a complete surprise, I got whisked off to Disneyland in paris for 2 days and then a day spent in Paris. My OH managed to smuggle my passport away - I was completely convinced I was going up north somewhere! Going out of the country was completely not on my radar, I was very spoilt, bless my lovely girls

Now it's time to get cracking with things (tomorrow though, today I am very sleepy after our mammoth 11 hour journey back yesterday!)

Wow Miss Bolan that sounds amazing!! I really want to go to Disneyland by OH says no just wait till we have kids then we can gang up on him till he gives in haha.

I am so excited now! Am constantly counting down the weeks Less than 8 weeks to go

Got a few bits still to do but not much. Off up to Edinburgh next weekend to have our pre-wedding photo shoot, menu tasting and my hair and make up trial. Just got a couple more bits to order online and then it is 'simply' things like sorting the table plan and play list.

Hope everyone else is getting on ok too

Its totally creeping up on us now! Got an argument with my ring guy tonight as i'm not happy with our rings. Got the final meeting with the registrar on friday, hair trial and still need to sort out centrepieces but i know what i want just need to make sure they can do it. Sorted our music last night, its all ready to be burned
