Can't believe the time is nearly here for all of us! :D

Finalised things with reception venue last night. Meeting florist this lunchtime to complete final bits. Church all sorted. Bridesmaids all set for their fittings (dressed arrived last week) just have to do bridesmaid from Aus right before wedding but hopefully that'll be fine!. Shoes for OH and that's about it. Aiming for a weddign weekend this weekend so that come April it'll just be a 28 day countdown!

Good luck everyone who's wedding are sooner, be sure to post some pics!! x

Em - hope you are having a nice time on your hen do!

I can't believe it's 4 weeks tomorrow until the big day! I have got some productive wedding planning done the last few days. We saw the registrar this morning, he was lovely (although unfortunately not the one who'll be doing our ceremony!) but he promises the lady registrar that is doing it is lovely so I feel ok about it.

My OH has written the reading, and it really is beautiful :)

I have nearly finished my bridesmaid bouquets, I am working on my own and my hair piece - its nice to tick some jobs off the list.

I went to a make up counter today, not really having a clue where to start, but me and mum got help from the lady on the Benefit make up counter and she used some beautiful products on me, they feel natural and light and 'glowing' so I am going to use Benefit on the day I think (after ebaying them to get a bargain that is!)

I am so excited, I feel ready to burst! I don't know about the rest of you, but I am struggling to concentrate at work during this build up :)
:) Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often! :p

MissBolan I am exactly the same. I have very little planning left to do so every now and again get mega excited. 19 days for us or - 12 working days EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeek.

What are you all doing about spray tans? I've never had one today but everyone keeps suggesting i get a light one. I'm on the fence about it at the moment. Any ideas how long they last?

Had a panic last week as the venue doesn't supply wine and we thought they did. They charge £16 per bottle or £5 per bottle corkage... Any ideas of decent cheap red or white wine? i only drink Rose...

Hey Jenna, the Pinot on the 3 for £10 is really good in Asda, and they have a matching red, Merlot I think it is?
    Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 2014
  • Hello lovely ladies - Sorry I've not been on in like aaaggeeess but life and wedding planning got in the way! Jen... I'd take Jemb's suggestion and go to ASDA and geta few bottles. Failing that, Aldi do a lovely Shiraz (forget the name) that stands up next to the most expensive reds! White, I don't drink but sure there's some white drinkers who could suggest an aldi brand in this forum! Rose, would rather drink white! Soz babe!

I also have not much left to do with just 13 days to go until the day - although I have had dress wobbles (Have I told you NC??)... The bloody dress won't zip up!! So am going to have it altered to have a lace up back put in instead! I really can't be dealing with the stress so close to the day!

All in all though, I'm done... Just need to pick up the dress, suits and the candelabra and hey presto... done! Oh and print the OOS at work on Monday next week - can us the office printer and save on ink at home! Bwahahahahaha! That's the MSE way!

I would have a look at the supermarket deals for wine too. You can get some really good ones and they often do a discount if you buy 6 or more bottles.

I have nothing to suggest regarding a spray tan, sorry, I've never had one.

Can't believe there are less than 4 weeks to go till the big day! So excited :)

Had a brilliant hen do which involved afternoon tea, a treasure hunt around brighton, dinner at an italian restaurant with everyone dressed in 1920s dress, and lots of alcohol! Was so great :)

I also had my first dress fitting yesterday, went well and it only really needs the hem taking up plus a couple of bits re-stitching.

    So excited :):):)

Picked my rings up yesterday and we're both happy with them after all the stress of having to recast OH :)

    18 days! Argh!

    Yay that's brilliant Jenna :)

We are still waiting for our rings. It is driving me crazy! We ordered then mid december but knew they wouldn't start working on them till jan. We were originally told they should be done mid feb ish and they still aren't ready! :( Have been without my engagement ring the whole time too as my wedding ring is being fitted round it.

Can't believe how close it is getting for all of us :)
