I want it now and commissioned it since October last year. OH can't understand why I'm cross. Bless him.

My ring not fitting my engagement ring is my biggest fear. I have an unusual shapped engagement ring so had to have one made to fit it exactly. They have had my engagement ring since just before christmas (did say it wouldn't be started till after Christmas which was fine, happy to let them take it rather than risk it in the post) so hopefully my ring will fit perfectly. Should be ready in around 3 weeks now. Can't wait.

Oh no 9aj4life that is cutting it rather fine isn't it. You would think they would know how worried people are about these things and give them to you in plenty of time!

Got the phone call too , to say that my wedding dress is in the shop so im going in for my fitting on thursday yay!

Hey ladies,

Everyone excited?!?! I am like a bouncing ball - annoying OH me thinks :rotfl: Still have loads to do so it's kind of stressful at same time.

Haven't had my hen do - it's literally two weekends before wedding. Not what I would have chosen but my little sis is coming home from Australia to be here for wedding so have to wait for her...another nice thing about wedding as haven't seen her in over a year - an added bonus to the wedding.

Bekki - I have dress fitting on Friday, can't wait! Hope you have a lovely time trying on 'your' dress.

Next week i am busy meeting flower lady at church then we're going for a sneaky drink at pub across from church to discuss flowers, delivery times etc etc....all very exciting.

Also meeting with venue as need to discuss final numbers and menu plan etc.

Mum is getting tailor at her work to make wraps for all the bridesmaids. Also got me a post box too. I'm very lucky as she works in industry with wedding dresses - specialist cleaning etc so I know when i get back from honeymoon my dress will look perfect and in whichever beautiful box I want it in

Anyway, how is everyone else coming along?? I still have a mammoth list to do but know I work better when under pressure, think 8 weeks is pressure enough now to be getting on with it.

Choc I think we are most defo twins! I'm having my hen do on the 14th April too and wedding 28th. 14th is also my Birthday so will be having a good HD i hope! We're off to the Grand National! What's everyone else doing? x

Your hen do sounds fab. I literally haven't a clue where I am going, what I am doing, or indeed who is going....it's all very secret between the bridesmaids. All I know is it's for a weekend and it's in this country.....hmmmm.....very exciting but also nervous as I hate to think what they are going to do to me?!?!

We're getting there. Just waiting for invites back in, which has a cut of deadline (lol) of Saturday. Got 70% ish in, but some people need a kick up the !!!! Dress fitting 24th March and pretty mich done. Need to send the stuff back to registrar for order of things and that's about it really. Had hair trials last week, which were fab and got to do soe meets with toastmaster and also hotel wedding co-ordinator. Had florist meeting last week too that made me dead excited!

Oh my gosh we def are wedding twins, we are same waiting for few invites back (deadline of sat) and got 70&ish in...lol.

Me - have few more bits with order of service. Meeting florist at church next tues evening and then over to pub opposite to finalise few bits - that should get me excited i'm sure!

I have hair and makeup trials beginning of April, that'll be lovely and have lots of lovely beauty treats facials etc booked in between now and wedding. I've been going to same hairdresser for ages now and they've just opened a beauty salon above in past couple of months so it's perfect timing. Plan is to go to salon in morning and then when I leave all i'll have to do is actually only put dress on and that be me done, I hope!

Meeting with venue owner mid march to finalise bits there then I think it really will be countdown!!!!!

Ooohhh sounds like everyone has things coming along nicely.

My hen do is in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I don't know what is happening but I know everyone is excited.

We are up to Edinburgh again this weekend to sort stuff; having our pre-wedding shoot, hair & make up trial and menu tasting. Can't wait.

I have just bought the last sweets for our candy buffet We only have a few bits left to sort now; table plan, menu choices for guests (once we have decided what we are having after the weekend) and the music to be played in the evening and order the buttonhole badges.

I am SO excited now!! Can't wait

Hi everyone,

Really jealous of everyone who has longer to plan than me. As we are getting married on the 5th, I only have 5 weeks left Got most things sorted, but then I remember something else that needs doing. Really getting excited though, and when I think about it I get the biggest smile on my face.

Got my hair and make up trial on Monday. Kind of know how I want it, but going to trust the lady to do something she thinks will suit me.

Still to sort: Transport (Really struggling with this as I don't want a vintage car or anything that costs a fortune. Going to bite the bullet though and just pay more than I wanted). Table plan and place cards, and also the table centrepieces. Then I think its just little tweaks here and there

Need to pay final amounts with Venue, photographer, registrar (who we are seeing tomorrow), cake friend, DJ. Think that is it.
