Last year I received a letter from the Mirror saying I won a 40inch Sony TV, Blu-Ray Player and 40 Blu-Ray titles then I had a phonecall saying the letter was sent out in error and that I only won a runners up prize of a blu-ray.
Anyway I contacted Advertising Standards and the ISP and they made The Mirror honor the prize so I recommend you contact them.

supporting you on FB, gotta say though i have a good feeling about this now and think they will have no other option then to offer you the correct prize or something of equal value or there reputation will be in tatters, can't see them wanting the bad publicity on FB like they are getting right now and they deffinatly are not going to want to be put down on here.

completely agree the support on here has been great and even made me laugh sometimes this is a great community , everyone gets stuck in and does their little bit no matter how small or large. big thanks to all.

I have however think i have worked out what has happened before i have even spoken to them. I emailed the "real winner" on f/book and she replied saying she actually got the wem on the 17th dec(which goes against what their t/cs say-winners informed 28 days after comp closes) and she was just emailing today to see how long it would be before it was sent.
Now i reckon that i was chosen as per zavvi rules in these matters as a alternative winner as i believe her original email was never either recieved or read properly hence why she is having to chase up such a major prize. I can only assume they sent me the wem as alternative then today have realised original acually did contact them before their set deadline and have reversed their decision and honoured her with the prize without actually going into detaails that they had got it wrong. Which leaves me in the awkward position of being analternative winner without a prize, but as another poster said just up a little i too have a good feeling about this and believe(hope) i will recieve something more substantial, if not the actual prize ,than 30 bloomin quid which i wouldnt want to spend there anyway with all that has gone on.
again thanks to everyone at mse who has supported here and at f/book it really means a lot and has cheered me up no end.

Then i do believe if that if thats whats happened, you have a genuine case of getting your winning prize....they have to honour this, its so wrong...im off to back you on facebook now...really really hope we can all help change this around for you and i hope they realise whats happening on here!!
