Hey DF,
Your new sig looks fab...at this rate you will have wiped the lot by next year. Here's hoping hey?
Cereal bars are great and WW flapjacks yummy. I only get special K as I can't eat oats...give me a poorly tum, but any will be good and apparently they make you fuller for longer.
Apparently you can get antifreeze windscreen washer for your car from the poundshops...might need it sooner than we think in this blooming weather.
Hope you can get your car sorted on the cheap...good old FIL.

Good Morning - here i am! I haven't been in hiding, just very busy
Also I've really made an effort to cut back internet use at work for a few reasons.
My boss has mentioned that I am going to be promoted again but i am not getting excited about it as there's never been any follow up on previous occasions and never any mention of money so probably more work for same cash! We shall see.
Paid slightly early this month due to the 25th falling on Sunday so we were paid on the Friday however i have just made my payments as I had unforseens to pay for. The dog was in the vets (fine now) and cost £60 so we went 1/2's. Also my car was in on Saturday and quoted me £120 which is apparently good but I'd only budgetted £100. Also I've had to pay my expenses for work out of own money as i've been too slow in putting the request through (slap hand) so 233.92 will be coming back to me soon but is my food, petrol and CC payment so it's not unallocated. Great news though - car is fixed!
So on Saturday we went to a friend's little boys party and the kids loved that then we went and viewed a property! LOL. Long story short we would like somewhere with land at some point in the future and my parents will want to move to retirement home some time in future. Ideally we could match this up and live together in some land. I obv can't do anything until I am DF which is why it is so important as the peeps who have been here in the beginning will remember there's only me (and my best mate) who know about this debt. Luckily we all want to wait until my youngest is at school which coincides with DFD. So now it's keeping eyes open for somewhere close but with land that we can view and have things to compare to- I just hope the "perfect place" doesn't come before I can afford it plus it's the worry i won't get the mortgage due to having so much credit.
Made my first payment to 0% this morning and paid Virgin minimum. Most other DD's have come out but few more on 1st then a £41.10 on towards the end of the month. Once I have my expenses back and know where i am for the rest of the month (CB due in on 11th etc) then I will overpay the loan. Decided to leave until neaer pay day so I don't get myself in trouble my assuming I can pay too much. This is my first month without overdraft so I need to condition myself to being used to that.
I've also learnt that now i get up earlier I am alot more productive on a morning at home and work however I am feeling it more on a night so need to reassess my night routine.
Hope everyone's ok and I will be catching up on the reading at lunch time.

Afternoon all.
Nothing much to report at the moment other than I am mega busy and can't believe it's Friday afty - I haven't got the Friday feeling or anything as it's flew in. The only financial update is that Debehams have replied to say they are looking into the PPI claim, Barclaycard have too but to say they haven't enough information to process the claim and today HSBC have returned a letter to me and have found 2 accounts (incidentally I didn't even remember them and they haven't mentioned the one i was thinking of!) which they've asked me to fill forms in on which was interesting based on the fact I didn't know about them anymore LOL.
So we shall see if anything comes from those. Anything would be better than nothing after all.
Have a good w/e all.
xx

Morning all
Well i'm skint LOL.
I have to wait for my expenses to be reimbursed but my Manager's dragging her heels (the new one) so following this up today as she's had 3 days to sign the form now. I have £37 and a couple of quid, literally, in the bank but the good news is everything's paid so there's nothing I need to pay out that i can't afford.
Once she gets her whatsit in gear then expenses will be in quickly as they do complete well.
Have to remember this is month 1 with no OD so it's reconditioning myself. I didn't realise how much I relied on it being there. It is a lovely feeling though to have it paid off as I know I won't see a - sign or OD words when checking balances anywhere. Small steps.
So there's nothing doing today with money unfortunately other than a NSD. I have had my cereal and have a banana for the mid morning snack attack. Couldn't bring myself to buy cereal bars and trying to avoid scones. So i hope to feel the benefit from it.
Loads to do this week and we're away for 2 nights from Friday with friends so that should be nice. I will make pinic to take for tea as leaving after work then Saturday I think we'll have a take away as DH will be paying
We found another house at the w/e that's a possibility but we're not even going to view it - can't risk it. I need to stop looking for a year or so - like that's gonna happen.
