Aw thanks hun. x
Right - Scottish Power aren't taking a payment until 26th feb so I can use that £136 I have stashed for them towards it. Need to find £14 which I will have to take out of petrol and figure something out when I run out of petrol at the end of the month.
I might just bite the bullet and pay it now then it's done and worst case is I have to put £14 petrol in using card but at least all will be up to date.
I wonder if I really tried juggling how many balls I could use!!!! Feels like loads lol.

Right
£150 paid to Virgin. ARGGGGGGGH. Although strangely a good feeling to have done it. No more late fees at least.
So petrol budget is £14 less for this month. Not too bad as this week's looking to be £5 under already (with me being off poorly so did no driving on Mon).
I have the email from the Gas/Elec company to state they aren't taking a payment until 26th Feb and the amount it's for (will have been paid again by then) so if anything goes TU there I have evidence and will follow it through if need to.
Ok So Cap1 and Virgin are happy for this month. Tesco is still processing so need to keep eye on that. Loan's done too and bills are still clearing.
Have £40 for my hair - will postpone if I need to as that £40 will come in very handy and my remaining petrol of £76 after the 14 has come off plus the £20 I have put in.
Could look a lot worse I guess!

Hi Kat - thanks xx
I feel sick from the food poisoning still and I have lost 5lb which is what I want to achieve but not like this!
I think it's also nerves/aprehension at still scraping by this month. I am looking forward to using my OD as if I have £50 less than I do so I always have the emergency fund there even though I won't use it, it's a mental thing I think.
I am pleased I have managed to pay the 3 CC's and get them up to date (tesco still not processed but prob will be a daily thing opposed t instant updtae)
I am going to try my hardest not to use my CCs this month even though I said the above - however IF I have to I will use the virgin one as refuse to put on C1 and there's no space on Tesco lol.
Decided I am going to clear Next asap, even if transfer to card when enough space as Next APR is very high I think - need to check.
Haven't been able to do anything this afty as v busy but taking a tea break now hehe.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly , but well done on keeping up with your debtbusting whilst you were. I imagine that being a store card, your Next account will have a very high APR, so it would probably be wise to pay this off.
If you do have to put petrol on your virgin card at the end of the month, then do it. Nothing worse than being stranded somewhere when you've run out. At at least you've paid off the arrears. Your only going to use the card if it's an emergency, it's not like you're going to spend loads on it.
Is there anywhere cheaper for you to have your hair cut?

AH DF are you feeling better?
It's horrific balancing everything, so stressful. But if it makes you feel better we are all doing it. Don't know if i told you, but I had my fortune read over the summer and the lady (who is very very good) told me I was saving money but had to juggle money. At the time I was overpaying my CC each month and wasn't juggling that much. She also told me a few times in that reading that i would be financially secure. Oh how the tables have turned, maybe this is the future coming true, but like you I am fed up juggling money each month and the financial security hasn't arrived yet. Maybe it's like Mr Right, just around the corner!
Off to bed.
Night all.

Morning All
I managed a small meal again last night and didn't feel sick straight away although a couple of hours later I did. Can't believe how Food Poisoning knocks you. Am ok in myself though, at work etc. Just not 100%.
Am soo glad it's Friday too - my youngest was up all last night with a cold and couldn't breathe from his nose etc which was scaring him so me and him sat watching the fish for 2 hours as he loves it. (he's only 7 months lol). Talk about thinking would never get any sleep! Anyway - roll on 4pm today and then the weekend.
Today I am going to check if the rest of the payments have processed at all. not wishing my life away but payday is 4 weeks today!
I am looking forward to spending time with DH tomorrow as being back to work full time from being on maternity leave and then taking ill this week has taken it's toll. Feel distant from him as not seeing him as much so hope tomorrow night turns out to be a good one.
I can see why people need to talk things through when they carry the burden of debt - some days it weighs you down terribly and others I feel like I can take it on "easily". Today I feel neither as I don't think I have woken up yet!! Lol.
Plan for tomorrow is walk into the village to the cobblers as I have shoes to re - heel - which thinking about it is MSE for me as pre MSE I would have send them to charity and bought a few new pairs! Now I am living in 2 pairs for work. Then bake with DD in the afty while DS sleeps and DH does diy-ish stuff. Once kids are in bed and asleep we'll go to the pics once mam arrives to baby sit. Sunday is a free day at present so I think I will do a budget Sunday lunch.....
I know a few people work in an office environment after chatting with them on here - do you have loads of work clothes or just a small amount? I try to mix and match as much as possible so not wearing same outfit but I find it very hard as only have a limited amount to work with.

Hi DF,
Well done, you are doing extremely well. Food poisoning - thats horrid, plus hardly getting any sleep you must be knackered. I'm really glad you managed to get Virgin sorted out this month. As for the petrol, as you say you can think about that towards the end of the month.
I was thinking the same as you regarding the next account. I'm not sure whether to pay it off with my credit card or keep trying to get the extra to pay it fully in the next couple of months. I was BAD though -I'm going out at the weekend and I searched in my wardrobe but just couldnt find anything to wear that I was comfortable in (I only go out to the pubs once every few months) so I was in next last night and ended up getting a lovely top which I am so happy with but it cost £20 which AGAIN went on the store card
think i will need to cut it up like i did my CC.
I work in an office too and find it sooooo hard with clothes. All the younger staff members seem to have some different on every week. I however mix and match as much as I can - especially with different jewellery, scarfs etc. I have three pairs of trousers which have done me for like a year or more and then have shirts and tops but as it has been so cold I have constantly been in my long cardigans. The thing is the men in the office wear trousers, shirts everyday and its the same ones every week so I figure why should I even think about it. What I was going to try and do is put aside maybe £10 - £20 a month if I can and try and save up to buy some clothes for the summer.x

I work in an office too but thankfully we have no dress code - jeans, t-shirt and a pair of battered converse is my usual work outfit.
Do you have any decent charity shops near you? I love shopping for clothes in them, it's so much cheaper and you can pick up lovely vintage stuff for a couple of quid that Topshop would charge you fifty quid for a replica of!
