i always shop through my supermarket
always without exception asda is cheaper

i hate their customer service & delivery service
they are the worst out of the 3 we have here (sainsburys being the best then tesco)
price you pay to get your shopping cheaper i suppose

todays order i just submitted was £89 odd, in tesco, the next cheapest was £104 something

Hi. Every individual will have a different opinion.

I would say ASDA is the cheapest supermarket overall.

They are all much of a much now. But to save driving halfway accross the city to them all for petrol reasons I just go to ASDA.

Maybe I am just in routine though. The only reason is, I was having a "clear out" earlier and I came across some 7" singles in my box. Now there were a right good few all bought in 1988. Most have an ASDA price sticker on them <mind you, some said Woolworth! and John Menzies!>. ASDA HARD GOODS is what the sticker says. £0.99- to £1.59 is the price range.

So I must have been going to ASDA from a young age. I can't realy remember going there too much but it's funny as that is now my preferred shop! lol.

Im new to all of this, so please would you explain to me, how the price guarantee scheme works, do I go shopping, then come home and check my receipt against all the websites ?

Funny you should ask this question. earlier this week i got an email from tesco offering £10 off my shop if i did it online. So for this week only i have added all my normal items to tesco (online) as well as asda (online), which is where i do my usual shop and at the moment tesco is coming up at £22 and asda at £14 for exactly the same items, i havent finished yet but i suspect when i do get to the end tesco will be dearer even with the £10 off.

For me it seems to be what deals are on that week, that will change who is actually cheaper.

However, I got into this whole tesco clubcard thingy a few months ago and checked the price of some stuff that i usually buy from asda and have decided that Asda is indeed cheaper.

So from now on, if Tesco has a good deal such as the 2 for £1 sugar.
I'll pop in quickly for it, other than that! ASDA!! :money:

I also buy most of my f&v from Te$co & L!dl as I prefer to choose my own, which is obviously something you can't do when online shopping.

If you have the time and shops available to you, it pays to shop around to get the most bang for your buck.

Why would you get a voucher when everywhere else was so much more expensive? You only get a voucher if Asda is less than 10% cheaper (or more expensive, obviously).
