Worth keeping an eye out pern, I would think the end of summer sale would be a good one - no idea when though. Have a look on ebay? I know some girls on here highly recommended some of the bms dress sellers there, so worth an ask?! We are going back to Hammonds and I am going to try and negotiate for 1 of my 3 dresses for free or at least a hefty discount. I negotiated nearly 400 quid off my dress so I bet she knows I will!
Oooo what are your invites like?!
I took a quick look but need to devote more time to it. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for what's out on the high street, & Debenhams sales as I really think this dress would suit all 4 of them which is saying something as they are all different shapes, sizes & colourings! I will try Hammonds again too & ask for a discount if I find something, I didn't bother with my dress as it was already reduced by £500 or so, which is lucky because I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise!
I've only ordered the pockets/invitation mats to get a view on colours to begin with, (from www.cardsandpockets.com) but I am getting my OH to get hold of photoshop for me again so I can crack on with designing the inserts as we are aiming to do the printing ourselves.
Ooh your dress looks lovely! & so does your reception venue! Very impressed I think your day is going to be amazing.
pern im sure ive seen somewhere that debenhams have a sale starting on the 9th june so maybe you'll get them cheaper.
and your dress is gorgeous.
im in a debate with myself if i should really spend £2000 on a wedding dress!!!!
Ooh thanks I will check that out, & thank you, I am feeling so much more confident now! Been looking at shoes today hehe.
Yikes that is a lot of money! But then how often do you get married?I think what you need to do is try on some others & see if you get the same (or better) feeling elsewhere, & triple check your budget to see if you can afford it! Remember if you'd budgeted say, £1500 already for the dress, but were able to make £500 savings elsewhere then you're sorted, it's whether or not you can adjust things without missing out on anything else important.

Becca, your wedding looks stunning! I have 'Pink' shoes too - I love how padded they are, I even might buy a pair and have them dyed if I ever attend anything black tie.
My dress was more than I wanted to spend but I plan to sell it afterwards and it was massively reduced
As for Debenhams, they regularly have mega day events when brands are 20% or 25% off, if you PM me the link of the dress, I can probably tell you when/if it'll go into sale.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Ooh now that would be nice! The trouble is I'm not sure if it's too early to buy them as my sister is pregnant (due in August) so I don't know if she'll be back to her superskinny self by the wedding or if she'll still be carrying a bit of baby weight...hmm.:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
