Pernicious, the dress is gorgeous! You HAVE made the right decision so don't worry, it still looks "bridal" but with some lovely twists and everyone will think you look beautiful on the day (plus it is YOUR wedding! - keep remembering that chicken!)

If you can get a material swatch of your dress, you could hold it up against various purple colours and see what looks the best or what you prefer.

As for your hair... Perhaps you could photoshop a photo of your in the dress with blonde hair and with light brown hair and see which you prefer? That way you can see what it would look like without doing the deed and possibly changing your mind?

Sorry for the not very helpful help... I'm as indecisive as a kit kat! (Is it a chocolate bar or biscuit?! Lol!)

Ooo lovely dress!!! I think its gorgeous! As for bridesmaids, they do them there so worth asking as they are so helpful!!

I am meant to be booking the photographer this month, but she has not replied to my email, so i might be on a look out for a new one. The problem being was she is very reasonably priced, and all the other photographers in this area are about 3 times her price:eek:

Thanks guys! I am going to go back to the shop to look at bridesmaid dresses but am really hoping to be able to get them off the high street as they'll be cheaper I think a dark, eggplant colour would be nice, plus that would suit all my bridesmaids I think. Will go back & ask to hold up their swatches against the dress & have a look

Spoony - I've been using paint as I need to get hold of photoshop lol! So as you can imagine using paint didn't turn out very well. Ah well, time to think long & hard about it I guess, might just ask my hairdresser to try & get me closer to my natural hair colour by making me a darker blonde but with a few highlights still.

Danielle - How long have you been waiting now? Perhaps she has gone on holiday or had some email issues? You could always try phoning & see what the excuse is, better to check it out before giving up completely.

Pern debenhams have some dark purple dresses. That's our colour too!! Very exciting.

Oh & Becca I forgot to say - I have seen some nice dresses in Debenhams that look suitable but they are £120 each :eek: Multiplied by 4 is not a nice figure, anyone know of a sale coming up soon?
