Awww becca the other plus side is that at there's a year left until your Wedding but it still sucks big time *hugs*

I should have noticed that in your avatar! :doh:The only thing we have sorted out properly is the date and the venue. I wanted to get that done and then think about all the rest! I have been checking through photographers and I am starting to think about how we want to day to be structured.

We are only having a smallish wedding as I hate being the centre of attention. We are keeping it to immediate family and our close friends, which is still 56 people! More than enough for me!

I haven't read back through the thread so forgive me for asking, how far along are you in your planning?

I know, I just feel really upset as now we are not going to be able to have a professional cake made. I was fine with it at the start but then I found this lady through a friend who I had done a favour for and in return she was going to do our wedding cake at a reduced price. Now we are going to have to get M&S cake, which there is nothing wrong with, but I had my heart set on the lovely one we had designed. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Hi Becca,

Where abouts are you based (sorry if this has been discussed before, I haven't read the whole thread). Maybe some of us could suggest somebody if we're in the same area.

Try looking and asking around as somebody may know someone who makes cakes or their may be someone who makes cakes as a hobby on the side who can make your dream cake for cheaper. x

I've done absolutely nothing wedding-wise this week. It's been quite nice to have a break and focus on the allotment instead for a bit.
Really must try to get motivated in the next week to write a list of everything that needs to be done....

Sorry to hear about the cake Becs, that's horrible! Why has she suddenly changed her mind?!

WEll, I'm back, having rebooked my venue! Luckily we managed to get the same date. Also booked the photograher and the chair covers. :T
