I really need to vent
I hate my SIL!!!!! :mad::mad::mad:
She won't be at the weddingbut is trying her hardest to make my brother and children not go either
However he is going to the ceremony :j , staying for some pics (after promising me he will), not staying for the meal and possibly coming to the evening reception. The upside is he WILL be there and I can start my table plan
Why couldn't my brother have married someone nice?!? :rotfl:

Weddings really do bring out the best and worst in people don't they?
What's her problem?
Sorry you're having to face this, it must be horrible0 -
Sorry to hear about your nightmare anibell.
Some people are so self-centered and petty when it comes to weddings. I think it's because they're not going to be centre of attention so they're jealous.
On a plus note, my candelabras have just been delivered and they look fab!
Got the day off work today so the mums are both coming over to play about with my veil!Getting married: 21/06/12!Current weight loss: 2st!!!0 -

I've got just less than a month to go and actually really pretty laid back at the moment - my mum's the stressed one. She rang in a panic the other night and said we all need to get together as she needs to know who's taking what and timings on the day. I said I'll provide them all with lists and itineraries to ease the panic (I really can't see why she's stressing!). She said that we need to make sure people know what their jobs are just in case something gets left behind like the cake, and I said well it's not really that important, it's just a ceremony and a big party after all. That got her even more stressed
Having the day off on Friday to accept delivery of the candelabras - decided to buy rather than hire as it made more sense.
Having a meeting with the photographer next week. He's a relative so he's coming over again for a chat and a meal.
OH keeps winding me up about leaving the country just before the wedding, oh, and I'm trying to get his Stag Party sorted because he 'hasn't had time' to provide his friends' details to his Best Man. I found them all out last night and did it for him as there's not many free weekends now, and I'm having three Hen Parties so I'd feel guilty if he didn't have one party!
Omg I am so glad I'm not the only one with stag do issues!! My future hubby's best man is well meaning but has left it really late...they are hoping to do a tank driving experience thingy but it's really expensive so I can't help but think it will fall through, & then all that will happen is they'll go out in town. We live in quite a small town so that's really nothing special in my eyes - my OH keeps saying he doesn't mind but I'm really annoyed that his stag do may simply be a normal night out but with the guys only. I don't know what to do thoughWhat are you planning for your OH Umbra?

!!!!!!?! Sorry if I've missed or forgotten something, but why on earth is she not coming in the first place, & why is she trying to ensure her immediate family isn't there either? I'd be so hurt if my sister's were not coming to the wedding breakfast...:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Awww anibell, I hope you don't let your silly SIL spoil your day; I have a silly sister so know how you're feeling in a way.
I can't believe I get married in 10 days! Eeeek! Still got loads to do and for some reason I feel like it's sorta crept up on me.
I pick up my dress on Thursday, having my nails sorted next Saturday (whilst most of you girls are getting married) then I'm off to the hotel on Sunday!
Hopefully OH will pick up the rings this weekend as I'm itching to see them!
It's so close now!❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

I understand how you feel Becca. Where did the time go? A few days I was stressing about rain and now the forecast is sun. Hoping it isn't this hot as I will melt in my dress.
I have learnt the hard way that leaving things to the last minute is expensive. I really wanted to get an engraved gift for best man and head bridesmaid and cost £70 just for the engraving!! I could have ordered it for £9 each on ebay but didn't have enough time grrr.0 -
ashtray, i got a zippo lighter for our dads from ebay and its personalised. cost £12 each and came within 3 days!
