Wedding Date 5th June 2012

Going to The Mill Forge 4 off us now I am getting nervous as I have organised it all myself my dress from ebay his suit from slaters cakes traditional from M&S and decorating it myself with diamond ribbon etc table decorations bought from ebay wedding rings made from parents engagement ring and wedding ring so personal Photographer Colin Carpenter Minister Rev John Carr still flowers to organise and hair on the day so still plenty to do. Day off tomorrow going for a spa day to relax D J free on the night as 2 other weddings

Spoony - eeeekkk! Only 3 days now here, getting very excited. Everything went to the venue last night so as of now it's all in their hands. Yayy! Just dresses, suits, nails and another hair trial and I am DONE! Are your class getting excited?

3 days to go......i hate my band....theyre the only supplier causing any stress and theyre causing me shed loads of it!

No answer on the phone, several days to get a reply by email.

Payment due 7 days before, emailed them last Tuesday to check the address to send payment cheque to, got a reply on Thursday. Put the cheque in the post on Friday and emailed to ask if they could confirm receipt. no email as yet, emailed again yesterday, still nothing.
I called them yesterday, no answer, OH called this morning, no answer, left a voicemail but the guy has yet to reply to a voicemail that we left about a year and a half ago.

Serious panic that im going to be left with nothing on the day.
Makes it worse that OH is saying, dont worry, itll all be fine, if its not thats what we've got insurance for...insurance arent going to be able to instantly locate an alternative on a Saturday night...

Update on band....thank god, my dearest OH has sprung into action and has managed to get hold of the manager. he has been away and has confirmed all is ok and good to go.

And breathe! now i can relax, finish up work today and enjoy the next few days. This is the only thing thats stressed me at all through the whole thing, other than this im rather relaxed about the whole thing

Still hoping the Best Man is going to get something sorted. Been trying to arrange that they go on the 16th after the suit fittings as they'll be together anyway and I'm having my spa day and evening hen do. Got my first hen do this Friday night and I've got all my Queen Cleopatra outfit sorted :rotfl:Only thing I'm dreading is the dares as I've had a peek at them and some of them are horrible! I'm thinking about making my own pass cards to take along so I can get out of the really bad ones.
Got our invoice through yesterday and put the cheque in the post today. Was less than I expected so we're able to pay towards the honeymoon and the meal for the night before the wedding with what's left.
Meeting with the photographer tomorrow night again and been on a sun bed every other day as I've developed sudden paranoia that spray tan will run on my dress if it's a warm day!

Good luck to all those getting married this weekend. I'll be thinking about you all on Saturday when I'm getting over my hangover and trying my dress on again!

trina - bet that's a big relief about the band! Ours are brilliant and I'm really grateful for that. They'll all be getting BIG thankyous afterwards if everything goes as planned.
