Having a horrible selfish bridezilla meltdown but keep hoping it'll be fine.

Lots of last minute running around and bits tomorrow but first pampering with nails. Wish OH had secretly booked me a massage *sigh*

Eeek Becca! My class are getting quite excited, bless 'em. They know what to call me after half term.

One asked me how long it was until I get married, I replied with "5 days", she screamed "5 days, oh my goodness!!" :rotfl: Thanks kiddo for adding to my nerves!

Hi all,

I have received a voicemail from the florist today saying she has "domestic issues" so cant do the wedding BUT not to worry as one of her friends can do it!

I then spoke to the "friend" who turned out to be a proper florist but had all the wrong information including time of delivery, type of roses/bouquet required and wrist corsages were not listed. I was then told it was too late to order what i wanted but i should be grateful for what i get as she is only trying to help!!

I'm furious but also know with 3 days to go i have no chance of booking a florist. Does anyone have any advice? I am so upset im taking it out on everyone and i cant stop.

I dont want to be unreasonable but i am so gutted i wont get the flowers i wanted/paid for and they have had the money for weeks....i dont understand why the flowers weren't already on order?

Smanderson - I would request a full refund and compensation from original florist - that's not on!

Spoony - my class are so excited, topped off by the fact that I've told them if they behave (HAHA) I'll bring OH in for our Jubilee celebrations tomorrow! I feel very chilled and relaxed about the whole wedding, it's all falling into place. You will be fine

Had a major melt down yesterday as the church called me to say that it is covered in scaffolding. This wouldn't be so bad but 6 weeks ago our venue told us it is having major building works done. I was in the middle of the meeting with venue (it really looks awful and only compensation is a bottle of port) when the church rang. I just burst in to tears!

Luckily, with it being the Jubilee weekend a member of the village has paid to have the scaffolding taken down and put back up again as they don't want it up. I love this person so much as now my photos can be taken at the church.

Have my rehearsal tomorrow, manicure today. Pack for honeymoon and I am done!

Only 2 more sleeps!!

Ah ashtray, that is very kind of the person in the village. Our church also has an awful mess in the back as the wall has fallen down but we are going to have photos around the other side. I bet that person has saved the day for you!!

This time in 48 hours, I'll be in my dress eek!

Ive just paid the registry office fees, still cant belieive how dear it is in a registry office. sure my folks said they paid in the 70's about fifty quid.. not over 200!

still money well spent, they are still together and hope me and my oh will be for years to come ( 4 ever..)

Very excited for all you weekend girlies!! :T

I have my first hair trial tomorrow. Little bit annoyed because the salon c*cked up the booking so have had to rearrange my whole day. I'm now picking my dress up after it but they can only do my roots after the trial so I won't be able to keep the nice hair in while I try on my dress I had planned on visiting my Nan with hair done and with my dress because she refuses to leave the house but can't do that now either grrr

Also, does anyone else wish people would stop asking how the planning is going? If I want to talk about it I will! :mad: (ok so I'm a teensy bit stressed atm )
