Pern it sounds like it's going to kick butt anyway! And you've done a good job getting it so cheap. If the friends that are coming are the more 'fun' ones then all the better :)
    Hey Bec!

BM dresses are http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010513753_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Dresses - this pic doesn't do them justice they look so beautiful on! Infact the silk flowers we may be going for are almost the same as in that pic too. We didn't realise until we got them home and looked either - weird!
    V. excited about the honeymoon, it can't come soon enough now hehe. We changed our plans slightly, now going to Lake Tahoe instead of Yosemite. We have a Lake view and a hot tub :D

Bit of a blow in that I found out that my Grandma, Aunt, Uncle and Cousins aren't coming, but I guess that's life. There are still going to be the most important people there so that's what needs focussing on.

Some of my close family won't be coming either Rahven, due to poor health :( Those BM dresses are gorgeous - I nearly had those!

Just a thought her girls, if you are preparing some romantic things for your day, don't buy your valentine stuff until the day after when they will all be reduced in price.

Although lidil did have a heart shaped box of love hearts at the weekend that i did snap up, not sure what i will be doing yet but maybe scatter on the table around the food.

Well they're all fun people, just some are up for other things that interest me & others aren't, but yeah fingers crossed it all goes ok! Hopefully the rest will at least come for the day, that should be dirt cheap :)

I'm at work at the moment so can't see the dresses but they are obviously meant to be! I'll take a look when I get home. I hope my wedding starts feeling as if it's really coming together soon!

Looks like we've booked the photographer....at last!! :j

OH has been desperate to contact the venue to make sure we're still booked! :rotfl: I tried to assure him we are but I phoned them today anyway and co-ordinator is on holiday. But they checked their records and we are indeed still booked and the cost is less than we thought and budgeted for so yay :j

OH is stressing about this wedding a lot......I thought that was my job!! :rotfl:

Had my hair trial today, what do you think:

I'm not having the tiara so don't need to worry about it sticking out.

This weekend also got suits fitted and paid for and set up our gift list :)

    How is everyone doing?

That's so pretty!! How long did it take to do? And where did you get that veil, it's lovely?
We're sending invitations this week and we'll be booking our honeymoon car hire tonight. Bridesmaids dresses have turned up and we've given 2 of them out, just waiting to see the other 2 hopefully some time this week. We're going to do a cake trial this week too and learn how to stack :) We have a set of 5 square tiered cake tins, but we're only going to use 3. Bonus is we can probably sell them on after the wedding.
