Hen plans are being talked about, the plan is a weekend in Brighton, but already most of my friends are saying they can't afford it The train is just under £20 & the hotel should be £40, I didn't think that was that expensive for a hen do these days? It's making me feel quite down, I know I can't tell my mates how to spend their money but I figured they'd make slightly more effort...

Need to crack on with plans this weekend, still need to sort the cake out!

I keep trying on my wedding ring and want to wear it all the time. I cannot wait to be married. My OH goes all gooey-eyed at this and then tells me with a smile to put it away....we will be married soon. This does not help......I want to be married NOW!!!!! NOW NOW NOW NOW!! *Stamps feet* :rotfl:

Where has the time gone? I still remember this time last year!

I'm excited yet nervous at the same time!

On the RSVP front, we've received 5 so far... None from my side of the family tho! - Don't they understand that I want to make place names and table plans?! :rotfl:

The lack of RSVPs is driving me mad too Spoony! We asked for day invites to RSVP by end of September and we've still not heard from several people. We're sending out our evening invites next weekend and putting up our website so hopefully that'll stop too many repeated questions too!

How annoying Gem! Especially as September was over 4 months ago! I bet when you contact them they say "but you know we're coming so we don't need to send it back" - but for us b2b we NEED the piece of paper as proof!

We've said people need to sent them back by 5th April (as we're hoping to sort and pay for everything, including the venue and food with any alterations to the menu, at Easter. What irritates me the most is I told my family twice now to send them back and they said they would but it hasn't happened!

I'm kinda worried about my dress now too, not about me choosing the right one, but about whether it's actually been ordered. Does anyone know when we should go for out first dressing fitting? I ordered my dress back in April.

Yeah exactly or "oh, well I don't know yet" - well decide, we have things to arrange/order!!

Do you not have your dress yet then? I bought mine in July and received it in the December. I'm having a catch added so that I don't have to trail it around and that's going to be April.

I've no idea if it's in the shop yet, I've emailed them and hopefully I should hear something back next week, if not I'll call them (I always get tongue tied when talking on the phone!)

I know when it comes in I want an extra bustle - well my train to be turned into one when I'm dancing so that needs a button or something attaching.

I also email the woman who was doing both mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up to confirm where I'll be on the morning and I'm glad I did as she's cancelled :eek:

That kinda makes me worried about my dress... Tho it's probably me just worrying over nothing.
