Also, despite my gran reminding my mum that I did need the RSVPs back, when I called them today my mum said "oh we don't need to send them back do we? Cos you know we're coming." Yes I do, but that's not the case! I have given you room on the RSVP to write down what dad won't eat on the menu and if it's not down, then he's eating what's on the menu!

We're going to Plymouth for a girl's night out on a Friday, then on Sunday we're having a spa day which I've managed to get down to £40/£50 per head (that includes food!) so pretty affordable and then if people are feeling flush they can add treatments on top :money:

I've had that from so many of the family - no I don't remember and I need to know if you want a room! ARGH!

Ellie B - budget looks fab! We've just had our invoice (picked up post from my mums) for the food/drink/venue and we're definitely making some changes!

I'm lucky one of bridesmaids has organised a hen weekend for me, all i have to do is pay for myself, along with the other girls who have to pay her.

We are off to Torquay for the weekend, we were there 2 years ago for her 40th, she managed to get into a sea front hotel, for £89 for the weekend with breakfast and evening meal, so we are having the same hotel. :j

Its really a hotel suited for your elderly clients as there are lifts and stair lifts and wheel chairs, made me laugh there is 2 steps in places and they even have stairlifts for that (bless) ohh and they have an indoor pool too.

And the theme she chose was burlesque, oh god help the locals of Torquay seeing a bunch of 40 something women squeezed into outfits like that, maybe i should ban cameras.

Had a lovely day in Leicester on saturday with the bridesmaids.. trying on dresses. Have ordered them now, online, from BHS and with the voucher code amazing deal at the moment.. got 25% off!! fab.. so waiting on them being delivered now..

hoping to go to florists on saturday to talk about button holes and bouquets.. thinking pomander style for the girls.. and basket for the two young ones..

I bought my wedding jewellery today and I am so pleased with it!
I can't complain either at the price - £4.50 and it was the last set :j

Still no photographer but making enquiries. Need to get final cost of venue hire (although we have probably over-estimated the cost). Need to get in touch with DJ. Need to get invites printed. Need to get suit for son who keeps growing(!!!) so may be a couple of months yet. Need to sort out my flowers. Need to sort hair/makeup trials. Need to sort out hen night. Need to save more money. Need to save lots of money. Need another job that pays more money. Need to get off my a!! and make dinner :rotfl:

I feel like I'm doing this :wall: How is everyone else getting on??
