Hello all. Pinky how lovely of your mum. Is she going aswell?? Good idea to say you could maybe do the cooking etc to help paying back when away. I would love to be able to do that with my dad but he says no dont worry and we will go out etc etc. So i try and get away with what i can - like breakfasts and drinks and snacks for the kids..... Will see if i can work on him for some dinners and lunch aswell?? Will see
Mummy togirls - DH actually called them up today (normally takes a while of me moaning at him first) and they have sorted it back to the old code as DH said his circumstances havent changed in the last few years and they think its becasue his boss hasnt sent some form back to them!!! But it should be changed back now?
He also jumped the car last night so i managed to go tothe shop and spent £12 last night!! But got a fair amount and only things we needed.
The car also worked today :j So managed to go into town and got some bargains in Homebargains. £8 worth of food bits and some dummies for dd and ds and a drinks cup for ds as he hasnt got one.... Also got dd some gloves as hers have loads of holes in!! I dont know what she does with them!!
I also poped into clarkes to see what dds feet were now and she has gone from a 5 to a 6.5 so I felt really bad they have gone up 1.5!! Oppps. I had a quick look at there sale and they had a pair of boots reduced from £38 to £12 so i got her them :j perfect fit and they didnt have many more so was lucky to get some in her size. Should keep her going for a littlewhile........
Will need to get some baby milk soon and some petrol but will leave it till the weekend I think....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Hi Mummy, oh bless DD going up 1.5 sizes!! I bet her feet werent cramped though. Everytime we go to Clarks they always seem to have loads of room to grow into. Bargain boots though!!! My DD2 is living in her wellies at the mo! She loves them and they were cheap so might aswell not bother with more shoes until she can actually wear them and its not raining or snowing!
Yay to the car working :j!!! xMummytogirls x0 -
Bless dd with her wellies - When dd1 was little I could never get her to wear anything other then one pair of wellies and even when the weather got better she still wanted to wear them and only them!!
Car worked today aswellIt should be ok untill there is a hard frost then it doesnt like it. Have got to go to the midwifes today so im glad it works as its in the next village and i wouldnt be abl to get there.
Today should be NSD aslong as me and DH dont mind having full fat milk in our tea as we seem to be going through milk soooo fast at the mo and its all gone but milk man comes in the morning so would rather wait...... A NSD on a friday is unheard off as DH would normally always want some beers but he has given up for Jan which is greatBut will see........
Been looking at some swimming lessons for dd as she is a worry in the water and I dont want her to be like it when they start swimming with the school. Do any of you send your kiddies swimming?? How much is he going rate if you dont mind me asking??????

hi good luck at the midwife appointment today. not long now :D
my 2 boys do swimming lessons i pay £20 a month each for a 30 min session each week. i dont know if that is the going rate or not? they do it at our local leisure centre and there is probably about 6 kids in each of their groups. i found the waiting list to be very long, i think ds1 was on it for 6 months and ds2 for around 8 months. it might be worth getting dd on a waiting list if you have a local leisure centre anyway in case it takes a while before she can start.
hope that makes sense!!!!
have a good day. xxTotal debt- 2982.00 Now- £2890.000 -
Thanks Fizzy. I have spoke to one of the local swimming pools and they can get both dds in at the same time - one in big pool and one in the little pool and start on Wed
Its £58 for 12 weeks worth (which i think is a term? and prob is not on in holidays? but need to check that) So ill will have to save about £20 a mth each aswell but will work out exactly when I know when next amount is due. My mum has said that she will pay for this first term (which is reduced a little as they have already done a week or two) :j:j I just need it to be cleared in my account soon as she said there is only one place left on one of them.....Wanna get it booked up now. I just feel real guilty that I cant take them ever myself
(medical reasons when im pregnant - cant wait till im ok to go again)

So she just gave up and assumed every thing was ok? I would have been like 'I'm not leaving until I hear that heartbeat!'
Little one is obviously wanting to reassure you that he/she is ok though...I forget did you find out what you are having?VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
wow glad you got your dds booked in so quick, well done im sure they will love it. i hated not being able to go swimming when i was pregnant with ds2 (along time ago now!!) i had spd and it made it pretty uncomfortable.
i cant believe your midwife sent you home without finding the babys heartbeat  glad little one has been moving today though at least you dont have to worry.

I couldnt believe she was so rubbish about it all!! Im glad babies been moving a little bit today to try and reassure me
We have got a doppler so ill have a listen myself later when kiddies are in bed
Hopefully ill be able to hear it well....
If my pennies - We didnt find out - we let dds decide if they wanted to know and they said they wanted a surprise
Fizzy - I havent managed to book the place yet as i need to give a payment before place is secure and ive not got the money in my account yet....so fingers crossed somebody doesnt nab them first
Kids have got tuna pasta for dinner and not sure what will be having yet as i forgot to get the chicken out last night for the curry i had planned - and i sooooooo fancy a nice curry!! Will have to try my best to resist a take away....can i do it??????????GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Mummy your midwaife seems totally carp is there no one you can complain to, not very professional of her.
I feel like a takeaway as well, kids have had hot school dinners today (roast beef and yorky puds) feel like just giving them an easy tea of beans on toast and the having a chinese later, lthats really naughty of me though is'nt it.0
