  • Ahh thats nice of your dad to offer to let you have naps and let you have a night out.
Sorry to hear you have SPD i haven't experienced that *touch wood* but friends have and it sounds not nice at all. Like you, i have heartburn at night and the baby keeps me awake all night, every night mostly. I also found out today i'm anemic. I feel "ok" tho at the moment, so thats good. I just cannot believe how fast its gone!! Hope you manage to sleep well, its after midnight and i'm wide awake!
  • Morning all. Having a quiet NSD today - well it better be :) Not planning on going anywhere or doing anything...... Will have a nice rost pork later - yummy andhave a day or housework and playing with the girlies :)
The girls decided yesterday that they would put there pocket money together to get a new game for the Playstation - dd1 really wanted it and had £10 and dd2 only had £4 so they still needed more money so DH took some old games to trade in and they could get the game they wanted - so they are sooo happy and its a nice game they can play together :)

Smarties pitty about the anemia- do you know how low your levels are?? Mine normally start to show imlow from the 28 week bloods so will have them next week and see what they are like - hopefully they will be ok and so will my platelets as ive got the consultants again in a couple of weeks and he will keep going on about what precautions ill have to take in labour etc!! Last time he seemed like a worrier - or im just to laid back :p My heartburn is horrible at night!! But atleast its making sure i drink lots of milk :D Pelvis seems a bit better today - but will see as the day goes on.........

Will do a meal plan for the rest of week as have loads in but havent got a plan!! Made some yummy cakes with dds yesterday and while the oven was on i made some flapjacks - didnt have the recipy to hand so just guessed :o and they are yummy so wasnt a disaster :) Also put some dried fruit in the get some extra goodness intot he girlies :)

  • Morning mummy, how are you today?

Sounds like a lovely to be had in your house! The flapjacks sound yummy, might have to make some using the raisins we have in the cupboard. Im always inspired by things other people do!
Yay to the car and holiday, all very exciting!! Thats lovely of your dad to suggest they can look after the kids whilst you nap.

Smarties, I was always anaemic with my 2! Infact I think ive a touch of it now too. Dont know if you know but they say vitamin c helps absorb iron. So get yourself a nice roast beef with leafy green veg and wash it down with a glass of fresh orange juice!

Hope your all ok x x

  • We have the new car :) Woohoo its realy nice to drive. The car people put 6 mths tax on it and charged us for it - which I was a bit peeved with as it costs more for 6mths and we would have got a full 12 mths instead to save a little bit - grrr. They put some diesel in as a sorry for not giving us the option etc... Also it only had one key with it - so I kicked up a little fuss and they have said if we get a new one ordered from Ford they will pay for it....so will see....Also filled it up some more and was about £60odd £s (DH paid so I cant remember will have to find receipt) and says it has about 550 miles eft so wil see if it lasts longer then the other car - think it should though :) Typical the first time I drove it ast night to the shop (needed some baby milk) had to park round the back in the dark car park and didnt see a big glass bottle and drove right over it :mad::mad: never done that before so its typical that I did it in the brand new car (well new to us :p) Tyre looks OK though so fingers crossed it didnt do any damage.......

Today DH has a course and me and the kiddies might have a day in the house (Or go to town as need some bits?? havent decided yet)

Got some free sample dog food which should last a few days (ordered some in mine and dh names so will see if we get some more or not)

Need to get on with lots of housework as it looks like a bomb has gone off at the mo..............

Woohoo to the new car, sounds fab!! 550 miles sounds good, I can only get about 400 out of a full tank in mine.
Oh no to the bottle, id like to think you would know by now if there was a problem with the tyre.

Hope your having a lovely weekend anyway x x x

  • Hello mummy I had a nice quiet weekend :) DH had a course all weekend so was just me and kiddies.

Today ive been over to look for a wipeable table cloth as the girls have ruined the dinning table with there lovely artwork over the years - forgot to messure the table beforehand though so came out with out one - but did get a new cover for my bed - its lovely and was cheap.....no excusses I guess for impulse buying :o Have since ordered a tablecloth online as it was the same price to have it delivered and then stops me going back into the shops (there was sooooo many nice bits that I could have brought)
Also had a look at some paint as I want to finish off the kitchen as its soooo close to being done now...... Havent brought any yet but im thinking maybe blue....Will hunt out a nice colour and get dh onto it!! :D

Had more freebies today and of dog food again...This time it was a big box so didnt know what it was when lady delivered it. Me and dd have been decorating the box all afternoon. Also had some nappies to try delivered aswell - will keep them for when baby comes.

Small spend of £3 in the local shop of pots and some yummy biscuits for me and dds :) But realise I need milk aswell so will have to pick some up at school pick up.

Best go and hang the washing before waking the littlies and doing school run.
