New year, New start
I like a nice new diary and a nice new start to the new year so here is my new diary.
A little back ground to me and my family for anyone new who might be reading this. Im a mummy to 4 lovely little kiddies, I have 3 girls aged 7, 4 (today
), 1 and a little boy who is 8mths im also due no5 in April. I love my kiddes but they keep me VERY busy. Im married to my lovely husband - who works hard and long hrs for us.
We both got into the debt together after a long few hard years. Which included having to relocate and a few years of depression and spending to help 'cheer' us up......yep we all know it doesnt help - if only we did years ago....
We have not used a cc or had any credit since june 2010. We had our LBM before this time and have been working on lowering the debt but the odd thing kept being put on ccs as a 'emergency' but im so happy that we have managed so long without adding a single bit to the debt
So for 2011 I have lots of aims as usual and will list them on here:
* I want to pay of £10000 over the year
including all min payments and loan payments etc....
* Sell on ebay/amazon etc and make around £50 a mth after fees and postage etc which is £600 over the year.
* Stick to a budget. Always working on this and the best way to make things work.
* Save £1000 to use for Paternity pay by April....
I will write on the next post the list of people we owe money to and the amount and will update each mth how they stand......
Also going to add on my SOA which im going to keep more of a eye on over the mths.....
So wish me luck
:D:D

So from this it gives me a extra £50 over min payments each mth which I am going to put into a seperate account on pay day and keep it in there till the end of the mth and as long as nothing crops up ill pay extra off a cc.
Need to put £150 a way each mth from this basic for the yearly savings. Will also have to save £2 coins towards xmas and also earn as many vouchers etc from surveys to put towards next xmas.
Will save all silver in sealed tin for the summer holidays so that we can do some fun things over the holidays without going mad
Save all coppers which will go towards debts.
Any extra I sell or earn on quidco etc will go towards cc or any extras that come up like things for the kids house or new baby..... This will also be helping towards the paternity pay.....
I will also stick to the grocery challenge. Also I have a new budget book which im filling in and putting all things we spend on in thereGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Hi, ooh a lovely new diary that I can join in with right at the very beginning.
Good luck with your plans for the year.
I am also attempting to crack the horrible 'depression-spend-happy-depressed-sad-spend' cycle and at the moment it's going quite well but not going to count my chickens etc because I know how this works now and one hint of a bad time and it all might start over again!! I am trying to keep up with my diary as well but all I seem to do is write lists and bumble on about my day but it keeps me happy and occupied and not spending money I suppose!!
I will be watching and reading and wishing you luck throughout!!
