Thank you. She had a agreat time and loved having her friends round. They seemed to enjoy themselfs :)
Not to much food left at the end so didnt waste to much :) I had brought some freezer nibbles for the mums but didnt do them as could see there was enough of the pizza and bits they could have. So will save them for one night for me and DH.
Just enjoying a nice piece of cake and a cup of tea after the mad busy day we have had!! All sorted now and house no longer looks like a mad house :)

Oh and today was a NSD and tomorrow will be for me but DH is taking dd to the football which was part of her xmas present - but his brother owes him some money so that will be used for tomorrow :) Oppps no it wasnt a NSD I forgot DH went and got some baccy - he is trying to cut down lots and only having baccy which is good and will save us some pennies - well he has to have baccy as we cant afford normal ones anyway...
Off to have a little read of other diarys

  • Morning diary. Having a nice quiet day today. DH and dd1 have gone to the footy so will be out all day. The little dds are playing nicely (at the mo :p) and ds has just gone for a nap so having a quick catch up.
We are going to have a baking day when dd is asleep later. Need to go hang nappies and put on another wash. Will also unload DW. Also need to do meal plan for the week and make sure I plan the meals for the order things need using up :) Going to see how long I can do the meal plan for from using most things we have in.....
My dad is coming round later to see dd for her bday. Have some cake left from yesterday so will be able to offer some of that :)

Off to do some jobs before dds start to argue and DS wakes up :D

  • Hello :)
Have had two NSD in a row :j:j Which im happy about. Ive also applied for a new 0% deal today to try and get some on the debt back on 0% its accepted us so should be changed over soon :D Its soooo much better to know everything your paying is going off the debt :). Fingers crossed that we can then get a new 0% on the one we have cleared so then we will have most on 0%.........for a while....

Dad has mentioned going to center parcs again this year!! So will need to start thinking about spending money for it as eve though we dont have to pay to go and Dad does pay for lots :A We still need a fair bit for spends So Ive added some saving targets on my sig - the £700 is spends (Fingers crossed we wouldnt need ALL this but would rather take to much and then have some left) and the £1000 is to cover DH when he has paternity leave. So I need to get selling on ebay etc to get some more money in to help towards the savings.........arrrr always something isnt there!!! ( Very lucky with the Center Parcs thing as he pays for the appartment so we cant really say know and the kids LOVE it!! :A) Will be the only holiday and wont get the Sun thing ive being looking into as can not justify having two holidays in a year!!

Havent been able to go anywhere (Helped the nsds :) ) as the blooming Car will not start again!!! Really so upset with it!! Every winter we have the same problem - first the garage said w needed a new battery - so got one and still have the same problem! Then they said it needed a new starter motor so we got one - still have the same bloody problem!!!!!! Not good to not be able to rely on a car when the weather is so rubbish Grrrrr! Ohwell will get DH to jump it and take it for a drive tomorrow night and fingers crossed it will work on thursday as need to go to homebargains and find some presents as dd has a few parties coming up....

Off for a little catch up :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
if it isn't the battery or the starter motor, is it the alternator.

glad dd had a nice birthday. and yeah to going to the footie today.

center parcs is great fun, but as you say can be pricey, especially if you want them to do children's club or whatever. but nice that you dad helps out, that is really sweet

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Morning
Smarties its not working and wont till DH jumps it :( It is like my arms been cut off lol. I am fine as long as its not chucking it down with rain!! It was raining a little earlier but not to bad - 2 school runs left to do so fingers crossed it doesnt chuck it down............. Chev we were thinking it might be the Alternator but the garage havent said anything about that so havent changed it so far! Just hate keep paying out and still being stuck in the same postion :(:( The car is our nightmare at the mo - really do not want to have to pay out for a new one but on the otherhand need one that works and we all fit in :(:( Who knows whats best to do.......

Yes we are VERY lucky my dad will pay for the accomodation :j:D:j Him and his girl friend come aswell so its a nice week away :) . We try not to do to many of the kids things - they like to do bowling roller skating and DD1 is already saying she wants to do the climbing wall etc again!! SO they add up but there is soooo much they can do for free so dont have to be doing the expensive stuff alll they time lucky :) Will also take things like drinks and snack for the kids and try and bring some food so we can save a bit on going out.... The kids lvoe it so i really hope we can go but Ive had a look and at the moe its saying we need a 4 bed and the cheapest is £1049 :eek::eek: So I think thats to much for my dad to pay.

Today wont be a NSD as hopefully DH will jump the car when he is back and I can go to the local little tesco to get some milk bread and fruit :)

Got a letter today from the tax man saying they have changed DHs code for this year (2010-2011) and we already owe about £400 but they will sort it our once the tax year has ended :( It says its because of a benifit DH has got from work?!?! Which might be becuase of his van?? and before his boss has had to fill in a form to say its only used for work and not private use.... So DH will ring them tomorrow (or if he is home in time) and see if its anything that we can change back :(

Morning Mummy - we too love center parcs - we are going may half term and my mum said she would pay half which was £450 leaving me £450 to find which I am managing - anyway she said last night she would like to pay for all of it which is sooo kind and I could really do with the help but am struggling to say yes and feel sooo guilty - so will wait and see. Maybe if she pays then I could do all the cooking and buy all the food - I dont know??
Glad to see the NSD are racking up we dont seem to have many of those at the moment. x

  • Evening mummy, love Center Parcs!! We did the Winter wonderland thing last year and it was sooo magical! We got a right bargain too, a 4 bed lodge for £260!!! So they can do cheap deals when they want to.

Boo to the car , did DH jump it for you? Did DH manage to call the tax place too? Hope something can be sorted for you x x
