  • Went to quickfit and they quoted £480 for the brakes to be fixed!!!! ARRRR But went to my dads garage today and he said we didnt need as much fixed as they said and quoted a lot lower price so have got them all fixed and saved us money from the rip off prices Quickfit were going to charge!!! One part they said needed fixed they quoted £180 and we only paid £80 for it!!! Plus the garage today said we didnt need the disks fixed and they were looking like new and not damaged atall!! SO glad I didnt trust there quote and got a second opionion!

Its half term this week and just done my online shop which is a bit higher this week as ordered some nibbles and treats for the kids as they are home all week.

Have sold some bits today and made £19 so have treated my self to 3 new things from the website i said about earlier - a top, a dress and a pair of jeggins :) So im happy as got a little treat for myself and didnt actually have to spend any of my pennies (Paypal doesnt count lol - I know it does really :o)

Ordered my nans xmas presents - got her a Cath Kidson diary and some sticker set so spent under the £10 budgeted for and she will love them :)
Must sort some more presents! Got my mum a lovely radley purse from the debenhams website for her bday which was £40 reduced to £20. Its my step dads bday this week aswell so need to think of something little to get him?? I never have a clue what to get men...........

    Nov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450
    CC2 £1300, CC3 £100
    Next £200

    I will get rid!!!!
  • MTG I hope its still in stock. That seems to be bad on the site that they sell out really quick!! Ive had a pair of boots and some wedged shoe which are really great!! I had to order a size bigger as people in reviews said the boots come up small but dont mind that!! Hope you get the dress you want.

Thanks Pinky. I am trying to be organised and keep checking on the grabit board to look for some bargains :)

Not much DFW going on. Have had a NSD today :) Always good. This half term has been good and not had to spend lol

My mum has given me some money for a early xmas present and she wants me to put it towards a Dishwasher or tumble dryer......now to decide what one and then find one for £200 :) I am thinking Dishwasher will help me out more - having 5 little ones and no dishwasher or tumble dryer is not good lol. What do you think would benifit us more??

  • Going for a dishwasher! I think??? I have seen a cheap one in Argos reduced at the moe (We dont have much luck with dishwashers anyway so only wanted to get a cheap one as the expensive ones we have had didnt last anyway!!lol) Have also read that Argos might be doing there offer where you get £20 voucher back when you spend over £100 starting tomorrow so going to wait till tomorrow and see if they are doing it before ordering :) Will help towards a xmas present :)

  • I think a dishwasher would be very beneficial to you mummy, like you say with so many mouths to feed you will find yourself constantly surrounded by dishes!

Obviously you'll then need to buy dishwasher tablets, salt, rinser but that doesn't mean you need to buy all the branded stuff, from what I've heard store brands are just as good :)

Very nice of your mum to give you it early too.

  • We had a dishwasher before BUT it broke - second one since we had a new fitted kitchen they dont seem to last long :( So I think maybe i need to do matenance washes like you do on the washing machien?? Will check into it to help keep it running longer - ive got a big load of salt, rinse aid and tablet left from before this one broke :) I no what you mean about them costing more then just washing up liq. BUT will be much easier lol so its more benificial for the lazy mummy not the MSE one lol.

Well I waited till today to get the vouchers but didnt think about the fact they would change the price!!! Its gone up £25 so would have been better to order last night!!! Ohwell!! Nevermind - will make sure i use the voucher that come with it. Also did quidco (1.5% so not loads but every little helps :) ) Very nice of my mum to give us it early, she thinks it better we get one sorted now. I am fed up with never having a clear work top as always needing something washed up lol its never ending :)
