Wonderful, Cheri, from the dream and how you stay focussed on it, to the practicalities of meal planning and costing. A post to take on board for all of us, thank you.

Cheri - I may have to steal that quote for my diary! And my dream. :D In fact, the first two paragraphs you wrote too... :rotfl:

And I was reading and thinking "you need a meal plan Cheri" ... but you beat me to it. :rotfl:

    Great minds and all that!

You know, I'm not sure I was capable of juggling a dream and all it's practicalities before I found MSE and started my diary!

"Dreams are the eraser dust I blow off my page.
They fade into the emptiness, another dark gray day.
Dreams are only memories of the plans I had back then.
Dreams are eraser dust and now I use a pen."
    Edgar Allan Poe

Make sure you've a stash of pens Cheri! :D This isn't the quote I was looking for, but it did make me chuckle. :)

    PS Mushrooms are evil! ;)

Hey Nic, I like that but it is kind of sad. I have a full quota of colourful gel pens sparkly and cheery. Used for mind mapping, filling my book of quotes and general listing of nice things to do. I am indeed in the middle of a whole months menu plan. Mostly vegan meals so far I will use my current situation to also get healthy I have decided.
Mushrooms are SO not evil. You remind me of my Mum who spent years telling me mushrooms were horrible. I tasted my first mushroom at the age of 25 and WOW, I love them. All forms, wild, field, button, shitake, cooked, raw, mixed with other stuff. Nothing better than the humble mushroom (except perhaps mashed potato). Now if you were talking about baked beans - they are truly evil YUK

Just checked tesco website and I have £16 worth of vouchers :j
Pity there is no tesco near me. As Mr C is going North next week I will do an online order for delivery to his parents so that he can bring it back down.

Sounds like a squeaky month Cheri but it is sooooo worth it, keep looking at that picture on the fridge :D You have a plan to raise money and it sounds as though it will help a little with the room of doom too. Fingers crossed that you raise more than expected so it is only a tiny squeak!

Loooove Mushrooms and could be pinching your mushroom recipe :T I think the only veggie I really don't like is celery and I am not too keen on aubergines.

And so begins another week. Back to work this morning. Not sure what will be sitting in my inbox but I am sure there will be enough to keep me busy all day. 2 days at International Eisteddfod this week so hoping that the weather holds until the end of the week.

Meal plans done, shopping on the agenda for this evening. Need to organise moving money around accounts. Must look into these accounts that pay you to have an amount of money in them. Bit lazy about that though seems like a lot of tooing and froing.

Maty, aubergines can be really scrummy with a little olive oil, mediterranean (sp) herbs and roasted in the oven with tomatoes, red onions and courgettes. Lovely.

Thanks for the support everybody. Means a lot.

    Have a good week everybody.

A mission it is Maty, only way to survive sometimes.

I have to say that today I am on a rather large roll............ Just cleared a whole weeks worth of emails from my inbox, filed in the right places, printed off those that need work, started an agenda for team meeting next week and set up a folder for the paperwork needed for discussion at the team meeting. Hmmmmmm I think I got my mojo back :)

Perhaps it is the sunshine ladies. Then again, I realised that this last weekend was the first weekend when I didnt have the "stress" of buying the house over my head. Yesterday I just slouched around all day but I slouched purposefully and mindfully as I really wanted to chill out. Didnt feel the need to go anywhere other than a pootle with Moo. I read a whole book, baked and had a massive pampering session. I dont usually like that kind of day but I know that it has done me the world of good.
