The McManis Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is on special offer at £3.99 in many stores, however, as previously posted they are going through at £7.49. HOWEVER, the wine that goes through at £7.49 is on bar code 028235001024 and is Vintage 2004. The wine on offer is the same name but a different vintage year and different bar code, and I have seen them displayed on the end of isles. You would need to find a store that displays the special offer near the wines that scan at £7.49 to get away with it.0

Daxman wrote:Hi All. Can someone explain to me how the self scanners effect our purchase.QUOTE]
Self-scan neither affects or effects your purchase Daxman.
No purchase is effected until you pay for it.
Your purchase is only affected, in an R&R sense, if you have been overcharged in one of the many ways Tesco have developed and refined over the years.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

p1an0player wrote:Good advice, but what do you do if you're on your own - you'd have to leave a trolley of paid-for shopping which someone could walk off with?
Also, if the CS person tells you to stay at CS, how strongly do you insist, bearing in mind it could mark you out as a seasoned R&Rer?
Matters not. You have your receipt as proof of purchase for restitution in goods or value.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
