Congrats, I tried yesterday but was knocked back by over zealous CS. I am going to ring HO as their arguement was that they hadn't overcharged me, just charged me too much. Please can anyone explain the difference and has anyone had any success with Dundee on the phone issue.

    Thanks

clear overcharge, leaflet actually states the price after discount, never lost an argument at any of the stores, some of the excuses as to why the policy doesn't apply are laughable though.

Well done Tesco's, I didn't get overcharged on a single thing in a £60 shop today even though I tried.

Not in all stores, small promotional display containing Nintendo, PSP, PS2 and X-Box budles.

The boxes show what savings are being made by purchasing the bundle as against purchasing the items individually.

I had a PM from someone on here who has got an r&r on this misprice already (I have their permission to pass this info on ), I am going to try it myself later.

The X-BOX Fiasco is back on !!

This Xbox is definately worth going for, I have gone for it. The store is looking into it and can see my point about it being misleading, waiting for a call back.

As someone stated earlier , a few pages ago, its covered by the consumer protection act ( I think thats the correct wording). It says its a criminal offence to display "misleading price indications", not just prices but price indications.

This has got to be clear cut

I too had the PM, and their success encouraged me to do it, as Wlfc1 says I think theres only a small window of opportunity here you need to do it asap.

But if you have a legitimate over charge it doesnt matter. Personally i RNR because i have been overcharged on an item or items i have purchased, not to become best pals with Mr/Mrs CSA.

I have no wish to become best pals with CS staff either and my refunds are also made because I have been overcharged.

However, I was just commenting that - for me - making a fuss for a penny a kilo is not on the agenda. I know an overcharge is an overcharge whether its a penny or a pound but I just don't feel that its worth raising my profile for such a tiny difference especially when the price per pound is correct . (I don't agree with the EU and not using imperial anyway !!!) I wasn't suggesting that anyone else shouldn't do it - just stating that I'm not keen to do it myself. If CS argued with me about it I wouldn't be comfortable standing my ground and I'm keen to keep my almost 100% success rate.

I have sometimes got R & R's on individually priced items which have been in clearly marked boxes at just a penny below the SEL - but thats cos I reckon the staff deserve it for being lax enough to stick a wrong price just inches from the item label.

We all have different approaches - and good luck to all our successes!
