I managed to get a Nokia pink 6111 today! SA offered me the £20 cash back first, but when I queried about their policy she did a refund for the whole £109.97. Really pleased, just need to get it unlocked now.0

If you did, it is no wonder they thought you had 2 heads.
Sorry if I upset you! I am not the brightest however on this occasion I most definately did not use the expression R&R.:j0 -
I noticed the post on the misleading X-Box promotional boxes stating a £19.74 saving, has anyone tried this yet ?, this is a definate r&r opportunity and I will be going for it.
Tesco should either remove these from all stores immediately or raise the price of the game to £39.xx
As it stands Tesco can receive an unlimited fine, I am going to try this later and will insist on a full r&r or I will be prepared to report the matter to trading standards.
Come on guys, you have until the close of today to exploit this mistake.0 -

Yes I got a Nokia 6111 pink phone today, think a message did come up on till, but assistant didn't do anything about it and discount wasn't taken off. CS offered me £20 cash but I mentioned their policy and she refunded the whole £109.97. Really pleased.0

These things have a short window of opportunity, I posted on Saturday night and it was inevitable that Tesco would react quickly. Why wait until today.
Never forget these boards are monitored !
oh and if you have stumped up £40 for the offer, then take the items back- I did
I wasn't having a dig, just stating I had no luck and it was the first chance I had to go today, it does seem peculiar though that some people are still getting them, and some aren't even now{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Congrats, I tried yesterday but was knocked back by over zealous CS. I am going to ring HO as their arguement was that they hadn't overcharged me, just charged me too much. Please can anyone explain the difference and has anyone had any success with Dundee on the phone issue.
Thanks0 -

Hi there, no offence taken
The fact that some people are still getting the phones would suggest that this can be manually done by each store?
pot luck then
The X-Box is the now the next big thing- check your consumer rights and the law on misleading packaging.
xbox360 bundled with pro evo
Anyone seen those new octagonal cardboard units instore displaying new xbox360 bundles with pro evo game ?
They sell just the full system as well on this stand and they have the game pro evo for sale on it too.
Xbox360 bundle SEL 279.97 scans at this
Xbox console only SEL 259.97 scans at this
Pro Evo game SEL 37.97 scans at this
But, the writing on the cardboard stand states "buy Xbox pro evo bundle, save 19.97 .
If you add up the cost of game and bundle if bought separately comes to 297.94.
Then work out the difference between the bundle, and the console+game, the difference is only 17.97
You only save 17.97, not 19.97 as stated.
So in effect they are advertising a saving you are not getting. Very misleading point of sale.
Its simpler to understand if you see the display.
Things dont add up, they have got their maths wrong and what does their price promise state?... " in the event that things dont add up......."0
