sorry, I should have specified what was for whom!
306NOTOUT if you haven't written your letter yet - you were going to weren't you - I would say go for it, mine got results and by emailing it I didn't even have to fork out the price of a stamp. Think about it, that's got to be worth a punt!0 -

does this mean that finally Mr T has sorted his act out? Or is it the calm before the storm of Chrimbo?

'Customer Information, Unit price is used as a guide only',
on an official yellow card. There was one of these on the meat dept, & the C/S bod had a job to find it. The supervisor refused the R&R,etc etc...........
UPDATE
Full refund for her from HO
Sounds very dodgy on Tescos part.
From the start of the thread .....Compare the price per kilo on the pack with the shelf edge label price per kilo and where there is a difference the lowest price must be charged.
Thanks to !!!!!! Dastardly for providing the following information from the DTI website which summarises consumer rights in relation to misleading price indications:
Q1. I was charged a different price for an item at the till to the one that was shown on the shelf, what are my rights?
The Consumer Protection Act 1987 makes it an offence for a trader to give a consumer misleading price indications. In the first instance speak to the trader about the differing prices, if you are not satisfied with the response, contact your local authority trading standards department who enforce the Act and who could bring a prosecution against the trader.

Slightly disappointing day to start with, went to 2 stores that must have had the list off here as there was nothing to be had at all, looked thoroughly and couldnt find a single thing not even the new driver pack or bubbly choc!!
Still, I visited another couple of stores just now and got Lindor chocs and BT mango home phone on golden R&Rs!
The phones may seem like they are really good but they are so cheap and nasty feeling, dont want to keep them so glad its a golden one! :TMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Debatable one IMHO. They can (and do) say that the individual price labels state whether that variety is included.
If you get one of the big yellow signs that just states "Walkers Sensations 3 for £3.00" you might be able to argue this was misleading, but check because I have seen some that specify the weight of the packs included in the offer and the special edition ones are excluded on this because they are 10g different from the normal flavours.

The special offer meat at my store is always re-labelled, books never have price tags on them...
if you regularly R&R at your store they might have a list. But (un)fortunately (whichever way you look at it I suppose) some stores actually do their jobs!0 -
