Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Over the last few days I have experienced an R&R drought! the only misprices to be seen are boring little ones!
does this mean that finally Mr T has sorted his act out? Or is it the calm before the storm of Chrimbo?

Well I'd give it a shot, since mine was honoured!

Sent letter as an email, got call from lady at head office, who told me to go to the store with the receipt and ask for someone (who turned out to be some manager)

I was VERY impressed by the speed at which I got an answer. And even more impressed that it was the right one

So to clarify if my mum with a bad back came into your store, did not have access to a leaflet just saw the sign would you give her a refund?

Don't really want to go down the HO route - been there before.

Keep the faith ,the next biggie is just around the corner, remember this is all about being in the right place at the right time.

They may have got their act together now but just wait till the next lot of offers ends and fill the trolley !

Got the New Driver Kit x 2 on the 3 for 2 offer today. SEL had been removed instead of the price on box being removed :rolleyes:

Anyway, went to CS for my refund and was told the SEL price is always the correct price and they will not refund because of what it says on the box - luckily the SEL had been removed so she had to give me the R&R.

But, am I not correct in thinking that if two prices are displayed, by law, the lowest price applies?

I thought I'd found a mobile phone for free, it was the 750i ( is that not a BMW?) with a sel of £109. It scanned at £129, oh joy.

Went to electricals, picked up phone and played dumb - not too tricky ask the OH.

The assistant agreed it was an overcharge then read the SEL again and said "oh it's in the wrong place this is the vodaphone version."
Darn, so close and yet so far!

They had a printed email that had them checking all the items you would look at from reading these posts !

I've been lurking on here for a while and have never found an R+R until today!!!
I was on my travels today, went to 2 different extras today and found nothing, so started to make my way home when my daughter started moaning for a drink. I noticed a tesco express at side of the road so popped in.

picked her up a drink, had a look round and they still had offer for terrys choc orange 2 for £3.

Looked shocked once realised I had been overcharged. The woman who dealt with it said ooh so thats £1.08 overcharge. While she was sorting it out I pretended to read the blue sign behind although I already knew what it said. Once she had finished she went to hand me £1.08. So I pointed to sign and said aren't I entitled to full refund. She went bright red and said oh yeah thats included isnt it.

This is the best bit, she did her bitagain and then said okay here is your £1.08 and here is your £4.08. I escaped quickly! They had paid me to go shopping. I had only spent £4.70, she gave me £5.18!!

I know it isnt alot of money but it made my day!!:rotfl:

Also the woman who served me initially said that loads of offers were not working, so may be more offers to be had here.
