'Customer Information, Unit price is used as a guide only',
on an official yellow card. There was one of these on the meat dept, & the C/S bod had a job to find it. The supervisor refused the R&R,etc etc...........

point taken, I will delete
lists that i posted have been deleted,
appologies to those who thought it was a bad idea you all have a valid point, I only updated them due to the amount of thanks i got as people did think it was a good idea at the time.

If you use a clubcard to buy anything then check tesco on line in your favourites it will show everything you have bought.
Can someone tell me how to find that please? I can't see favourites or find it anywhere.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -

Log on to tesco.com you will need to put in your details inc clubcard number. It may take a few days but then when you log in all you have do is goto the groceries & my favourites & there will be all you have bought showing up0 -

Its pretty much pot luck, usually human error where someone has not changed a ticket, look for stands or promotion ends. The phone I got was in the normal place at the new higher price but on the promotion end opposite the cs desk the old price hadn't been changed.0 -
Anyone know if reduced to clear phones will trigger the new discount when bought with shopping. Spotted the motorola slvr black reduced to clear away from the phone section and wondered whether it might not trigger the discount.0

"So basic run down
SEL expired or not is and Invitation To Treat
you taking products to the till is The OFFER to purchase the goods at the price you were Invited to treat at.
Till operator selling you the goods is and acceptance of The OFFER.
Hence contract concluded. Item Miss priced Tescos policy comes into force."
Strictly legally speaking I do not agree with the analysis.
Either the till operator scanning the goods and offering at a (higher) different price could be construed as a COUNTER-OFFER, thus the contract is concluded when you agree to pay the amount offered.
Or, and I think more likely, the parties were never ad idem (of the same mind) and accordingly agreement could not have been reached (that is you thought you were buying at one price and the seller thinks they are allowing purchase at another).
Having said that CS are unlikely to know all of this and it is always worth a try.
They can't counter OFFER purely by charging you more, they can either refuse to sell the item at the miss price or OFFER to sell it at the higher price, as neither a refusel of OFFER or Re-OFFER was introduced the original OFFER must stand.
