FloFlo wrote:So to clarify if my mum with a bad back came into your store, did not have access to a leaflet just saw the sign would you give her a refund?
I would refund anyone whos purchase was an overcharge within the terms and conditions of an offer. They would not need to be anyones mother, nor would they need to have a bad back.
I have already posted that I do not know if the T & C's are also on the poster, not that they are not on it - I do know they are on the leaflet, as I read them (which was how I could answer your original question).Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
discounts used to be more than price of item at my local too but they've got wise to that now.
what annoyed more than anything today was attitude of csa - "its already cheap, if we gave you another pound off we might as well give it away"0 -

gt568 wrote:IF you should be asked by CS why (and I never have and most of my R&R's are meat) you bought, it is because you expected the discount to be applied at the tills. You only noticed that it hadn't when you were checking your reciept prior to leaving.;)
That's exactly what I said - I told them that I thought the till would automatically charge the right price....0 -
pontyendred wrote:don't know if this qualifies as a misprice but today I bought 2 items from finest range that had "buy 2 save £1" stickers on. The items were reduced so an extra £1 off made them even better value but surprise surprise the £1 didn't come off at the till. Went to cust servs but got no joy at all. CSA said that because they were reduced the other offer is superceded. I was in a rush so no time to argue but would appreciate advice on this.
I know that they have a sign up behind customer services in most stores to say that reduced items are excluded from multibuy reductions. However, if the "buy 2 save £1" stickers were on on the items you bought, then I think they must honour this. If they don't it's an overcharge and you are entitled to full R&R.

top_banana wrote:Think I missed out on a Tesco mobile Motorola V3 Razor today, went here and saw it for £79.xx on SEL, but no-one would price check it at tills for me. amd they did not have any price check scanners (and misses did not want to buy it to check price  ). So walked away
Later on went to another store on my way home and saw it again SEL £99.xx
Could kick myself may have got myself a free phone.
BTW the £79.xx was on a white standard SEL.
Possible R&R?? I will never know!!
If your local may be worth a look my friends............. I was in Harlow mid afternoon today
Thanks for this. I've just been to my local and might have spotted something but I need to know - Is the V3 the same as the V3 Razor?0 -
pinkfluff wrote:Got the New Driver Kit x 2 on the 3 for 2 offer today. SEL had been removed instead of the price on box being removed
Anyway, went to CS for my refund and was told the SEL price is always the correct price and they will not refund because of what it says on the box - luckily the SEL had been removed so she had to give me the R&R.
But, am I not correct in thinking that if two prices are displayed, by law, the lowest price applies?
I have run in to this dirty weasel like tactic recently, yesterday I had to show the CS a variety of boxes around the store with the price of the goods displayed on them and get them to agree that the boxes were clearly part of the sales promotion/pricing display.
No R&R today but £60 cash from yesterday's Golden R&R receipt.......every little helps ! My son nearly gave the game away when he burst out laughing when 'every little helps' came up on the till display. I have been training him up to use Tesco's to 'sponsor' him when he starts university. His sister is simply brilliant, nerves of steel and more front than I will ever have, we jokingly call her 'The Terminator' or 'Psycho Loner Bit@h From Hell'.
I wonder who she gets it from ?0 -
I suspect the V3 is scanning at £79.xx now as its showing as £79.xx on the website now although you can always try it see !0

According to this review
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-v3-en.shtml
the project name of the V3 is the V3 RAZRCouponing....."every little hurts"
