Monster... take them to your local homeless hostel... its dead hard to raise funds for presents at christmas.. pleassssssssssse

I agree with you! would much rather they went somewhere, where they could possibly help someone else rather than just get thrown away. :)
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

so has anyone been banned after HO intervention? is this a policy that HO adhere to or is it up to the managers descretion.
i find it shockuing that people can be banned from using tescos own policy

YES - Kevin Kelly at CS in Dundee served a nationwide ban on me then did a U-turn when I highlighted the potential negative publicity this may bring for his company. Shortly afterwards, he instigated a weird witchhunt involving him spending many hours trawling through several months worth of my Clubcard records and making several bizarre late night phone calls to me and my partner. I think he was trying to move heaven and earth looking for any old bit of dirt he could possibly pin on me.

Yes, it is shocking and disgraceful that people can be banned for asking Tesco to implement their own advertised policy.

The moral is NEVER to use your Clubcard and to pay in cash. I have done all my R+Ring this way since Kelly's witchhunt and now he's p1ssing in the wind, if you'll forgive the expression, because he doesn't have a clue when or where I'm doing my R+Ring.

Since Amishi  posted the above we have heard nothing from Clasics (Are you OK mate) and only a little from MyUserNamesTaken.

Amishi is clearly using information from this thread to identify, trace and spook MSE’s R&Rers.

Clearly. Thats the only possible explanation :rotfl:

    hi wlfc
you made it sound so easy yesterday, but i still got no success to report
i tried for a phone today and the girl took of the discount, i just made my excuses when i went to collect phone as i just took box from shelf to checkout with me,was this the correct way to do it do you think it is worth having another go or do you think they are all aware of problem now dont want my first r & r to be all confrontational
    thanks

    Hi Boots

you were just unlucky on that occassion- it happens !, one knock back is not failure, just move on and hopefully the next store will bear fruit.

I have had so many pm's from people who had success- as mentioned to others- You are a shopper who has been overcharged by Tesco, the policy is their way of saying " sorry"

Hi guys can you help with a little info on the £20 off The Mobile Phones R&R, as like a lot of the bigger Tesco stores the entertainment section has its own payment/cs section where you pay and collect your goods, this is obviously different from the main check out!

so my question is where do you actually pay for the phone i.e. do you pay and collect before checking out your main shop hence not triggering the obvious discount or do you put the empty dummy box (for the phone) on with your main shopping through the main checkout and how do they process it!

Sorry for sounding a bit thick but I want to be 100%

You can still pay at a normal checkout, they'll just tell you to collect it from the electrical dept.

    Hi,
I'm completely new to R&R and was just wondering whether someone could give me a short explanation what to look out for etc. I have been reading through the forum all last night and went to Tesco today to try my luck. However, as soon as I got there my struggle started as I wasn't sure what to look out for. I found one item with an expired SEL, but when I scanned the item through it was no different. What do I need to look out for? Anything on the SEL? Also, need a new mobile but again, don't understand how it works. Any help would be much appreciated. Wannabe-R&R.
