Get on the blower to HO, explain the legal rights you have, CPA, ASA, and Tesco's own policy, etc. Tell them that if it is not sorted immediately you'll be contact TS and the press, etc. Have them print out a letter send it to the store, and tell them you wish to pick it up from the store in person, from the manager concerned following there debreifing to him on MR T, policies and the legality of the overcharge.
That should do nicely !! have a nice day !! EVERY LITTLE HELPS Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund. Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

Rather than leave it up to the individual stores to read and react to HOST, HO fiddles with the central pricing database so that cashiers cannot sell the item. The items won't go through the tills.

so has anyone been banned after HO intervention? is this a policy that HO adhere to or is it up to the managers descretion.!!!!!!_Dastardly wrote:Get on the blower to HO, explain the legal rights you have, CPA, ASA, and Tesco's own policy, etc. Tell them that if it is not sorted immediately you'll be contact TS and the press, etc. Have them print out a letter send it to the store, and tell them you wish to pick it up from the store in person, from the manager concerned following there debreifing to him on MR T, policies and the legality of the overcharge.

We seem to have a few people boasting about giving obviously false details again. If what you're doing is wrong then don't do it. If what you're doing is right then what are you worried about?
If it's OK to lie to Tesco then presumably the odd bit of shoplifting is OK too? There has to be a line somewhere. Can I help?0

I presume, maybe incorrectly, that your real name isn't rdwarr. Why make up an alias?
Your posts are most welcome but this one should really have been posted on the ethics thread as this one is strictly about people's experiences or misprices and frequents nocturnal habits!

Would the same not apply to the comments about giving false details? Or indeed frequents boasting. Neither are particulary on topic.
Personally, I fail to see why a seperate thread is required - its all the same topic. I also fail to see why rdwarr should pick up heat for holding an differing POV.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
 I am not sure0
