For your £40 worth of shopping, why not do as I did... buy 4 trays of their Carling Lager (£9.98 each) and a Mars bar ....

    That way, I can have a drink for WLFC1, or sorry, 4 x 24 drinks ... :)

Thank you again WLFC1 ... if you're ever over this way, some of these Carlings have got your name on x x x ;)

    Nice one !, well done

I love a good luck story
  • I may be a bit green here but is there any reason you should give your name and address if they ask for it when you go for R+R?

I got 3 of the painting by numbers today SEL £9.97 but in a box marked £7.97, took CSA to show him and his first comment was "how did you see that - you must have been looking for it!" (must admit box was on its side and price was at the back so you did have to look).

Asked the CSA what was the problem and have I done something wrong here? He stormed off to desk, gave me R+R but then asked me to fill in a bit of paper with my name and address on. I've only been at this a week but not come accross this before.

I realise they want your details in case you are regularly at this but do you have to give it to them? I was with the kids so didn't want to get into a big argument there and then

You dont have to and I know some people on here refuse to give it, to me that just draws more attention, just give a false one, Mr R Ander, Miss Pryce, T Standard are all good ones! Then just make up addresses, as long as you havent paid by card they cant do anything!

  • paid on credit card so had to give real name

gave false address but wondered what would reaction be if i refused totally - do they then refuse R+R?

I don't trust any of these big companies and I'm sure they've now got it in for me over £30!

Just give them anything, why cause a scene when you've got your money back?

    My fave is T3 5CO
