    Hi,
I'm completely new to R&R and was just wondering whether someone could give me a short explanation what to look out for etc. I have been reading through the forum all last night and went to Tesco today to try my luck. However, as soon as I got there my struggle started as I wasn't sure what to look out for. I found one item with an expired SEL, but when I scanned the item through it was no different. What do I need to look out for? Anything on the SEL? Also, need a new mobile but again, don't understand how it works. Any help would be much appreciated. Wannabe-R&R.
you will find most things on the first page of this thread
  • Please just read back through the threads esp first page as people get fed up with keep repeating how to do it.

I only started this week and all was learnt from reading back over previous postings.

Best of luck with it. I got £300 of mobile phones in my first week so am well pleased!

I have already read through the forum. However, I was just wondering what exactly do you look out for? If items have white SEL's, does that mean there is nothing to be R&R'd? And if not, how do I know which ones (e.g. phones) are eligible? I can hardly put 10 different phones in my trolley and walk to the self scan? Wouldn't that be a bit obvious?

    Thanks.

Is there anyway CS can tell that you have already had a R&R refund if the receipt is unmarked and you try to return it for an exchange? Can thy tell by scanning the barcode at the bottom?
    Thanks

You just have to be on the ball and take a few things (maybe printed off) from the misprices thread and scour your local Tescos. Often within a day or two most have gone, but just keep an eye out. Fresh meat often offers easy pickings. The label on shelf reports a lower per kg price than is on the ticket on goods.
Ps : for god's sake, don't walk around with the printout in your hands :rotfl:

There are no hard and fast rules, just have to look, study and use your instinct, in time you soon learn to smell a rat.

start off small, follow the misprices posted on here and look for your own, you will eventually find one and everything will then make sense.

Don't forget to post your findings and contribute to the forum, a lot of people just take from here and can't be bothered to share or look for their own misprices. Follow the threads and listen to the chat- in short do your homework before you take your exam.

    good luck

Did you question them as to why?

    Never heard of this before.
I've had this happen before - it's when they know there is a pricing error and do not want to sell any more. I could have kicked up a fuss but why would I when I didn't really want it? Just one of those things I guess. It can happen but not often.
