  • I was under the misconception that alot of these overcharges were not actually overcharges (more that the price had gone up and people had forgotten or not got around to changing the sel), HOWEVER, having spent alot of time looking recently, it is the other way around, the chickens that were sel 3.16 and pack 3.23 now have all got 3.16 on the pack, the bush freeview box is not 29.99 etc etc.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

  • Can anyone tell me what these self scanners look like? I have never seen one yet. We had our chicken this evening from my first r&r and thanked Mr T, it might have been just a small r&r but it tasted much nicer because it was free.

  • Personally, I cant really understand why people bother going for the small R&R's

You end up getting known at CS and what for? A bar of chocolate or a chicken?

Scanners vary in looks. Our has a Tescos blue background, is mounted on a wall and is a cream coloured plastic box with a glass panel on the front where the laser is.

" If items have white SEL's, does that mean there is nothing to be R&R'd?"
    ..................................................................

Nope not at all, we all had numerous crates of Beck Vier on a white sel priced £6.99 scanned £7.99, courtesy of Mr Plush Chris.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

  • Too many Christian dogooders in charity shops.

Don't want them to think new goods are nicked and therefore run the risk of Police interest.

NOW NOW, lets not start attacking Christians working in Charity Shops. They do a great work for those who are far less privileged than ourselves who have never heard of R&R. Just take one into each shop and tell them it is an unwanted gift. You don't have to tell them that it is a gift from Mr T.
