Just back from tesco and tried for my first R&R on a mobile phone, unfortunately the £20 discount on a £40 spend came off automatically at till. Should I have used the self scan machine, can anyone help. Need new mobile!!

Which model phone was it? Previous posts suggest only the PEBL and 6111 on Tesco mobile have a chance of working.

Also, it's Sunday night/Monday morning and most shops are closed, did you go to one of the Tesco Local stores?

Scotland would be my guess.

Scotland is correct. it was the 24 hour store and the model was 6111 and also the erricson

constantine, how did you guess it was Scotland - is the rules different here?

In England and Wales most of the "24 hour" Tescos are open 8am Monday until 10pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sunday.

Shops over a certain size are not allowed to open for more than 6 hours on a Sunday.

Went to tesco garage before put a tenner petrol in and got some cigs, the guy behind the counter asked if i collected them sport vouchers i said yes he gave me 30 i just walked out dont know why cause you only get 1 for every £10 you spend
